is a question often asked
the one that you don’t need to know the answer too
it’s the kinda thing that people say
to help you find your way
if your not lost then answer it another day
cause you still have time
you don’t need the answers all at once cause they can wait
just as long as you know
that something’s on its way
you can bide your time until you got another move to play
hey hey hey
hey hey hey
some people find the answers a little quicker than the rest
it doesn’t mean it’s gonna be the right one
it’s better to be late than to be early and be wrong
just bide your time I promise you it won’t be long
cause you still have time
take as long as you need
you don’t need the answers all at once cause they can wait
just as long as you know
that something’s on its way
you can bide your time until you got another move to play
hey hey hey
hey hey hey
hey hey hey
hey hey hey
cause you still have time
take as long as you need
you don’t need the answers all at once cause they can wait
just as long as you know
that something’s on its way
you can bide your time until you got another move to play
hey hey hey
hey hey hey
hey hey hey
hey hey hey
In Skerryvore's song "Hey Hey Hey," the singer questions the importance of the well-known and often-used phrase, "Where you gonna be in 5 years time?" The question is usually posed to assist in finding direction and motivation for the future. However, the singer seems to be suggesting that the answer to that question is not immediately necessary, and that there is no need to rush towards finding it. Instead, the singer encourages patience, stating that everyone moves at their own pace and that answers will come in their own time. The message is to not worry about finding answers all at once but to trust that things will fall into place eventually.
The sentiment in the song is uplifting, advocating for perseverance and understanding the importance of a journey rather than a destination. It promotes having faith in oneself and the natural order of life without obsessing over immediate results. The chorus is a reminder that life is not about reaching a specific end goal but about enjoying the ride and the experiences gained along the way.
