A stranger's form, your skeleton
See the bones glow as they break free

The lyrics to Son Lux's song "Change Is Everything" are open to interpretation, but one possible explanation is that the song is about the transformative power of change. The singer suggests that in this moment, everything is changing. He describes the course of blood within your veins and how your body is a stranger's form. This could represent how change can make you feel like a new person or like you're in a strange new body. The line "see the bones glow as they break free" could be referring to how change can help you shed your old self and reveal a new, stronger version of yourself.
The repetition of "this moment changes everything" reinforces the idea that change has the power to transform you completely. The singer seems to be urging the listener to embrace change and allow themselves to break free from their old life. The song's haunting melody and sparse lyrics create a sense of unease and uncertainty, which could reflect the anxiety that can come with major life changes.
Overall, the lyrics to "Change Is Everything" suggest that change can be both scary and exhilarating, but it has the power to fundamentally alter your life for the better.

If you think this song is just OK, you must be listening on subpar headphones or speakers. So much nuance in the lows. The frequency separation is unbelievably articulate. So full of energy, yet so much musical space.
