Sometimes the frustrating part about being saved is that your spirit can't contain its joy and praise upon hearing words and song that are known, personal triggers, and it comes out in a flood of tears and worship, and it doesn't matter what's going on in your life, what sin you're struggling with, how low you've fallen. The Word says that Christ knows his own from the lost. I'm doing a decent job at running in the opposite direction of God's will for my life, and all it takes is for me to listen to a powerful song like this, and God reminds me that my spirit and soul belong to him, and that he still loves me even though I'm all the way over here, far from where he would like me to be. So, I break down like a crying baby, as my spirit takes over and threatens to put me on the floor.
The part that's frustrating is that I can't sing along like I normally would, but fall apart sobbing and my voice breaking. Against such amazing power, I can't resist. I played it twice, thinking it might not be so strong the second time. It was even stronger. I don't dare try a third time, or I'll have snot pouring out my nose.
