The song "Te groot voor woorden" by Stef Bos portrays the life of an old woman who is now living in loneliness. Even though she has some friends left, they rarely come to visit her. They only send flowers that smell of their fear. When they do visit, they don't look at her and talk about nothing. Despite this, the woman still manages to smile, just like she did before. However, she is now feeling worse than before. She has learned to fight because she is from before the war, and she still tries to enjoy life. She doesn't talk much, but she thinks and drinks expensive wine, wondering how the world will be without her.
The woman's thoughts often wander along the roads in her head, leading her to remember her love in the past. She dreams her days away, waiting for her children who never come and for the long night that never ends. She sits in her chair, staring blankly as the hours pass her by, and every passing moment makes her feel older. Death is her only comfort, sitting next to her with its arms around her shoulders. The emotions that she feels are too big for words to describe.
