A Logical Assumption "The Drudgery of Angels"
(Firstly, modern life is and was an incredible opportunity for the books. I now have the freedom for any volume I desire without climbing the ranks of a Monastery into its best Neoplatonic papers. Even though I have had some tragic moments, especially before and after my college, life has been, if before slightly tragic, mostly pure enjoyment. This allows me to see the difference and the result clearly.)
Now. "On the Drudgery of Angels"
1. That intelligence takes practice and that the intelligence of the world is vast and hold's the keys to all inevitable authority and also to Paradise.
2. That without intelligence people's lives end up in a living Hell over time and that this was described in Christianity.
3. That conquering intelligence takes a great will and also that it's best opportunities are kept hidden and secretive.
4. That the vast reservoir to intelligence is linked to writing, but also to mathematics and history, and to a lesser degree engineering and science.
Therefore, Hell does exist on Earth and many already reside there and it exists unseen in the minds of many and that authority constitutes a drudgery where one attempts to lessen its gates. I believe many hold similar accounts , especially the more informed, and I, thus, regret the absence of any tutor, civil service, or teaching which would be a drudgery of Hell. Alas, not only is beauty skin deep but also Heaven and Hell and Heaven and Hell are a vast and continuous cycle that has existed throughout history.

I completely agree with you 😊. I probably would have let my 5 year old watch the first 3 movies with me. I don’t remember them having too much adult content and as long as I was watching with my child I could explain any of the content that might be more questionable. And there is always pause, stop, or FF so what’s the big deal ??

She's done some phenomenal work and is such a brilliant actress, natural and believable in everything she does. I doubt she rates it in her pantheon of best work but there will always be a special place in my heart for her Evie in The Mummy. Intelligent, feisty, funny, charming. And with Brendan Fraser's recent triumph, one of the few action adventure flicks to star two Academy Award winners. They had wonderful chemistry. Even this far on, would be nice to see them reunited in something.

That Cronenberg movie was deliciously twisted when I saw it all those years ago! Awesome that she just made the characters women. But it also might change the feel of the doctor/patient interactions as a woman examining women. Finally, a remake that might have something to say and not just be another cash grab reboot! (Looking at you, live action Disney...lol)

I do love the dedication and talent that goes into a single person playing a pair of twins. But we do have real twins in the world. I'm surprised that more twin-themed projects do not cast actual twins. There have been some, but not as many. I know, the prestige thing of using a famous and name-recognized actor in the starring role; that's a big draw. But I'm still surprised. I'm sure Rachel is great in it; she's a phenomenal actress. But surely it would be a big time and money saver to have both people on set at the same time?
There is a certain almost subconscious feeling we as audience members get when we know it's twins, vs when it's an actor doubling themselves. Twins are just sibling actors. The Olsen Twins, Tia and Tamera Mowry, etc. A single actor playing twins is more doppelgänger-like, more unsettling, less natural.
I myself am not a twin. I'm curious to know how twins feel about the phenomenon.

Larry David once said that he watched TV with his teenage daughters as a way of 'just being in the room with them'. While my wife was travelling with work I used to have TV dinners with my 5 & 8 yr old daughters and watch an hour of Simpsons and another of Friends every night. For those complaining about the name of the first Star Wars movie, it was just that. It was a stand alone movie in 1977.
"They" - being Lucasfilm or whomever - added the Episode IV: A New Hope bit at some time after. Maybe for George Lucas to do the prequel ideas.
Those of us that saw the original back in 1977, we can assure everybody there was no "Episode IV: A New Hope" in the opening credits. When I bought the series on VHS all three definitely had the episode numbers.
I must admit, though, I can't recall if The Empire Strikes Back was always called Episode V because I only saw it once in the theatre.

The 9 Skywalker saga movies, Clone Wars, Rogue One, and Solo are the 12 canon movies, and then if you want to throw in non-canon there are 2 Ewok made-for-TV movies that were released in the 80s. The Holiday special might as well be a film too given that it's 2 hours long!

Nope, the first one is not called Star Wars, that’s the overall title for the saga but as anyone who is even remotely interested in the movies knows the first Star Wars movie was called “A New Hope.” Oops Stephen!

@Reid Smith interesting, and thank you for sharing. I was also there, not on opening day, but as a nine year old in the theater. George Lucas always intended the movies to be part of an epic Saga. He dropped us into the middle of the story as a nod to Akira Kurosawa’s method of story telling. Yes, on the movie poster it says Star Wars. When I first saw Star Wars, as anyone did , I said I saw “Star Wars” not “”A New Hope”. The common title wasn’t referenced because the Saga was not yet known or fully fleshed out yet. “A New Hope”was in the opening titling and regardless of the missing Roman numeral it is wildly recognized as the title within the Epic “Star Wars.” In his conversation with Rachel she said they were watching the first one called “Return of a Jedi”. His correction, all be it to your point esoterically correct in how the film was initially marketed, is not what the first release is commonly called or referenced in the cannon. If he wanted to make the point “did you know that when it was first released……” That would be more to what you are talking about. The Lord of the Rings was one book before the editor encouraged JRRTolkien to break it up into three separate books. No one simply says the Lord of the Rings with out specifically referencing the particular book in the epic.

Just me, but I count "Star Wars" (1977) and "Star Wars Episode 4: A New Hope" (SE 1997) as different movies. Even though the episode number and subtitle were added for theatrical re-release in 1981 (and in every home video release since that started in 1982), everything else about it is basically the theatrical cut. I feel the same for the sequels. The original releases and the '97 Special Editions are different movies.

But, again, that's just me.

Actually the first movie did not have "A New Hope" in the title during its original theater run. I know. I watched it 12 times in cinema.

I am much more horrified, a self proclaimed nerd like Stephen, called the first Star Wars movie "Star Wars" and not it's actual title, "A New Hope"! For shame! 😮😜🤦🏼‍♀️

That's its name, the new hope part was added AFTER the prequels came out. He is correct.

Would you be surprised at the number of women that haven't seen Star Wars, Trek or stuff like LOTR? I've met and dated a few, didn't turn out too well and glad Rachel's an exception.
