Try looking at something behind your screen and focus slowly into the image, It should come into focus, hold it there for a second and you can see it clearly.

@tabby73 I've watched all kinds of tutorials. Mind you ive been trying to see these images since 1994. I'm 41 now. No matter what I do, I cant see them. I've read that's it's not entirely uncommon for some people to just not be able to see them. My eyes arent great but I'm not blind either. Im not sure why I cant see them

There are videos on YT that (try to) teach you. Have you tried them?

It took me a while too, to be able to see the pictures. What I do is I unfocus my eyes to the point where I see two images on the screen. Then I slowly start focussing and just before the two images come back into one the 3d image with the picture becomes visible. It's like magic when it happens like another dimension opened up.

@Kalaga Arun I've tried everything under the sun to be able to see the images. I've tried to just "daze" with my eyes relaxed. I've tried to cross my eyes and then let the naturally uncross. I've gotten farther away, gotten close....nothing I do works.

I can naturally diverge my eyes, so I got most of these correct, except the "rabbit" and the "tiger."

The tiger wasn't very detailed (I thought it was a dog), and why does that rabbit have two long arms?

Also, the last one wasn't just a horse. It's a guy with a cowboy hat riding on the back of a horse.

I saw all ten. But I had to go back to the first one after I allowed my eyes to leave my control. At one point, as soon as the page or images changed, I'd see the next one. Instantly would be an applicable word. The truth is, "Thee images were not well defined as they were made." Still it was FUN to LET GO after all of these years again. Doing the "Put your nose on the screen" trick gives me the outward result. Cross eye trick gives me the hollow result.

A technique for beginners that I found quite useful is to bring the image up very close to you, so that it almost touches you nose. Now just relax your eyes and slowly move the image away from you but let your eyes relaxed. If you focus on the picture, try again.

Perhaps you're focusing your eyes "in front of the screen" rather than "behind the screen". (Hint: try fooling your eyes by focusing as if you're looking at a distant object)

Relax your eyes and view on full screen. Pause the video on each one and try to look through the image. After a while your brain will see another layer of depth.

Once your eyes are locked in for the first image, it's easy to get the rest. But some of them aren't accurate. The tiger one looks like a dog... The last one is a horse but someone is on it whereas the other one that was a donkey looks like a horse. The rabbit kinda looks like a clown though... like wearing a clown outfit. Just a suggestion, giving the answer as an outline of the image would be helpful but it was fun :)

dataspek I agree with the showing with an outline. I also agree with how locking your eyes in makes all of them easier. I blink a couple times rapidly and they show up instantly

FFS these things are frustrating. I remember seeing one once, and it was by a different illustrater. It looked like some of the picture was forward and the shadows made it go back. I can't see anything through my computer screen though (I can do usual optical illusions, not stereograms though). I got so annoyed not being able too see the magic Eye books properly, so frustrating. I could find Wally easier than this. :(

You have to be doing basically the opposite of what you were doing before: instead of having the focus point be in front of the screen, it should be behind it

Don't tilt your head or it wont work and if you're on mobile make sure the screen is aligned with your eyes.

No, you shouldn't cross eye, as this invertes the picture and is more exhausting. Try looking "through" the image, as if your eyes were focusing on something behind the screen.

Cause youre watching them cross-eyed. You gotta do it wall-eyed (there are 2 kind of stereograms, the ones in this video are the latter).

I have the exact opposite problem, i cant see anything cross-eyed even if i try to, so cross-eyed stereograms are reversed for me.
