Vai has been described as a "highly individualistic player" and part of a generation of "heavy rock and metal virtuosi who came to the fore in the 1980s". He released his first solo album Flex-Able in 1984, while his most successful release, Passion and Warfare (1990), was described as "the richest and best hard rock guitar-virtuoso album of the '80s". Steve Vai Lyrics

You know, it's when they look you in the eyes and they say...
The lyrics "No, I'm very, very shy. You know, it's when they look you in the eyes and they say..." from Steve Vai's song "I Would Love To" reveal the character's personality trait of being a shy person. The singer is hesitant to engage in conversation, and even when someone attempts to initiate it, they are too uncomfortable to carry on. The line "You know, it's when they look you in the eyes and they say..." implies that the singer is aware of their shyness and struggle to make eye contact with others. They may find it difficult to connect with people and may feel isolated or awkward in social situations. The lyrics offer a glimpse into the vulnerability and insecurity of the character and show how their personality affects their interactions with others.

That's Steve's wife Pia in the black shirt. Former bass player for Vixen before they got famous in the 80's. They been married over 30yrs with 2 kids. She's a hottie and the 2 other girls are Steve's sisters. They are the ones his song "Sisters" is based off of.
@DanielVerberne
I thought it was an actor chosen to play a girl named Pia in honor of Steve's wife.

Ahhh, 1990 such a beautiful year for Music. 17 year old ME watches Total Recall, falls in love with Sharon Stone, picks up Passion and Warfare and this becomes my new favorite song ever! I still cherish my guitar magazine with Steve (and snakes on the cover) that had THIS song and For the Love of God together (their Tabs) My pre-internet beginner guitar self couldn't handle this much power! This song encapsulates the true bliss and joy of falling in love for the first time, and every time I hear it immediately takes me back to simpler wonderful times. Life is short so be excellent to each other!
