Negative and Violent
Stray From the Path Lyrics
How easy is it to go through life disregarding everything
Thoughtlessness flows in a time where wrong is right
Yeah i'm gonna prove you wrong
Let me tell you about your flaws
I know them all
Staring at the screen not saying what you mean
There's gotta be more to life than complaining
There's gotta be more that you can offer
Let me tell you about your flaws
Everyone is all the same, everyone you know
Hiding watching waiting
You've built this anger because you don't want to put any effort
Into saying something worth saying
Negative and violent, we're all so important
Let me tell you about your flaws, I see them all
Everyone is all the same, everyone you know
Hiding watching waiting
There's gotta be more to life than complaining
Negative and violent
Negative and violent
Negative and violent
Negative and violent
We're all so important

A friend of mine pointed me in the direction of these guys, and after listening to about 5 songs, tbh, I don't think their my cup of tea musically. However, these guys' lyrics, from what I've heard so far, are pretty awesome. This one in particular is probably my favorite.

I love this kind of vocal style, that's one of the main reasons I like TCM's newest album the best

stray from the path actually have a extremely unique sound. Drew's voice is very original whereas a lot of vocalists have very similar voices. Also the guitar work Thomas Williams writes is amazing and I don't think I've ever heard another player use this kind of style. And they put on a fucking amazing live show and screamo is too broad a term to use I would call them hardcore or hardcore punk. So they actually bring a lot of "new" to the table.
Sydney Faulkner
forever a favorite.

well that's as close as it comes. bands like this are really starting to surface, and i think its great, counterparts, at half-mast, stray from the path, they all bring back complexity to hardcore. and that's awesome because it was really starting to be all about chugging, and how brootalz you sound. Lyrics were starting to trash talk women again, or just be about beating people up. and that's all really gay. thank god there are people taking hardcore back from what it's becoming.
