I've loved this song for ages but haven't heard it in ages, and it just popped back into my head just now.
It does things to my feeling and imagination that I find hard to describe since I don't know music and instruments very well, but I think to start with the different instruments seem to be doing their own thing and it's all a bit low key and disparate, and then becomes more morose, slow and sad, but then when the instruments come together it picks back up and goes farther and higher than they ever managed alone, keeping their personalities but achieving more...
I think it's like people, like we can do things on our own but it's hard when things are miserable - if we come together and can work in tune for a bit we can achieve so much more than ever we can apart <3

It's a bursting affirmation of hope as a concept. It's so powerful and playful. The slow sections only highlight the optimism the song evokes. A perfect fusion of sounds. Thank you.
