2) Sugarfree is a three-piece band from the Philippines composed of Mitch Singson on drums, Jal Taguibao on bass, and Ebe Dancel on vocals, influenced by the likes of bands Popsicle, Oasis and Radiohead.
Sugarfree first became known in 2003. They climbed their way to fame through their songs Telepono, Mariposa, Burnout, Hari Ng Sablay, Prom, Kwarto and a lot more of the band’s compositions from their albums Sa Wakas (2003) And Dramachine (2004).

Na punong-puno ng galit at damit
Mga bagay na hindi ko na kailangan
Nakaraang hindi na pwedeng pagpaliban
Oh oh oh
Mga liham ng nilihim kong pag-ibig
At litrato ng kahapong maligalig
Ngunit ngayo'y kailangan nang itapon (ngunit ngayo'y kailangan nang itapon)
Di ko na kayang mabuhay sa kahapon
Kaya mula ngayon mula ngayon
May jacket mong nabubulok sa sulok
Na inaalikabok na sa lungkot
May panyong ilang ulit nang niluhaan
Isang patak sa bawat beses na tayo'y nasaktan
Di ko na kayang mabuhay sa kahapon
Kaya mula ngayon mula ngayon
Mula ngayon
Alaala ng lumuluhang kahapon
Dahan-dahan ko na ring kinakahon
Natagpuan ko na ang tunay kong ligaya
Lumabas ako ng kwarto't naroon siya
Magpapaalam na sa 'yo ang aking kwarto
Magpapaalam na sa 'yo ang aking kwarto
Magpapaalam na sa 'yo ang aking kwarto
Magpapaalam na sa 'yo ang aking kwarto
Magpapaalam na sa 'yo
Magpapaalam na sa 'yo
Magpapaalam na sa 'yo
Magpapaalam na sa 'yo ang aking kwarto
The lyrics of Sugarfree's song "Kwarto" describe a person who is cleaning their room, which is filled with anger and clothes they don't need anymore. They find letters and photographs of the past, which they slowly collected but must now let go of. The person realizes that they cannot live in the past anymore and needs to move on, which means letting go of these tangible reminders. The chorus repeats that sentiment, highlighting the need to leave the past behind and start anew.
The second half of the song describes specific objects in the room that are a source of sadness for the person. There's a jacket in a corner that is rotting away, reminding them of loneliness and despair. There's a handkerchief that has been cried into so many times that it's now stained. These objects are physical manifestations of pain that the person has been holding onto. However, the last verse brings a positive change in tone. The person finds their true happiness and leaves the room to be with the person who brings them joy. They say goodbye to their past in the form of the room, showing that they are ready to move on and start a new chapter.

Maglilinis ako ng aking kwarto
I will clean my room
Na punong-puno ng galit at damit
It's filled with anger and clothes
Mga bagay na hindi ko na kailangan
Things I don't need anymore
Nakaraang hindi na pwedeng pagpaliban
The past that can no longer be avoided
Mga liham ng nilihim kong pag-ibig
Letters of my hidden love
At litrato ng kahapong maligalig
And photos of my troubled past
Dahan-dahan kong inipon
Slowly, I gathered them
Ngunit ngayo'y kailangan nang itapon (ngunit ngayo'y kailangan nang itapon)
But now it's time to throw them away
Di ko na kayang mabuhay sa kahapon
I can't live in the past
Kaya mula ngayon mula ngayon
So from now on
May jacket mong nabubulok sa sulok
Your jacket rotting in the corner
Na inaalikabok na sa lungkot
Covered in dust from sadness
May panyong ilang ulit nang niluhaan
A handkerchief that has been cried on many times
Isang patak sa bawat beses na tayo'y nasaktan
One drop for each time we were hurt
Alaala ng lumuluhang kahapon
Memories of a weeping yesterday
Dahan-dahan ko na ring kinakahon
I'm slowly packing them away
Natagpuan ko na ang tunay kong ligaya
I have found my true happiness
Lumabas ako ng kwarto't naroon siya
I went out of my room and there she was
Magpapaalam na sa 'yo ang aking kwarto
My room will bid you goodbye
Magpapaalam na sa 'yo ang aking kwarto
My room will bid you goodbye
Magpapaalam na sa 'yo ang aking kwarto
My room will bid you goodbye
Magpapaalam na sa 'yo ang aking kwarto
My room will bid you goodbye
Magpapaalam na sa 'yo
It will bid you goodbye
Magpapaalam na sa 'yo
It will bid you goodbye
Magpapaalam na sa 'yo
It will bid you goodbye
Magpapaalam na sa 'yo ang aking kwarto
My room will bid you goodbye
