The band reportedly never rehearse together or communicate about their music outside of live sets and studio sessions.
Supersilent was formed when the free jazz trio Veslefrekk (Arve Henriksen on trumpet, keyboardist Ståle Storløkken, and Jarle Vespestad on drums) played a concert with producer, live electronics artist and self-described "audio virus" Helge Sten (a.k.a. Deathprod).

I think Justin that you will find that the closed-off air tapping on the other side of the crosspiece is for the fitting of a manual regulator, for example, if you were using an airbrush or perhaps using the compressor to inflate your car tyres. Just make sure you get the correct threaded connector when and if fitting and you will have a means of adjusting the outlet pressure anything from 1 psi up to 60 psi or whatever range the regulator and its gauge is capable of. Your other connector is convenient for such things as nail guns etc. A word of warning, if you know that you are likely to be knocking the air pressure about a lot with for example an air blower gun (nail guns are not quite so capacity pressure demanding), it is a good idea to fit a shutoff valve between the regulator and the compressor direct onto the tapping presently closed off (a quarter-turn ball valve is perhaps the best choice for this task - cheap and cheerful and provides a good seal). Winding the regulator valve right down to zero can achieve the same result, but if forgotten and left with the pressure turned right up on the regulator, operation of the airgun will really knock the pressure gauge on the regulator around and eventually knacker it in a short time. Isolating the regulator completely from the pressure circuit will prevent and protect the device, giving long and reasonably accurate service.

Good review!
Compressors generally have very short cables to prevent Voltage Drop.
Just use a longer air line to reach places further away.

240v Ac there won't be any voltage drop there even if you extended the cable. Now if we were talking Dc then I'd agree but it's not.

@peter gerrard From a manual: "Extension cords are not to be used with this compressor model. Voltage drop which could lead
to motor overheating, motor damage and compressor problems. We always recommend
using extra air hose to reach the worksite". ALWAYS read the manual!

@Mark A###So if you can't use an extension cord then you can't plug in in on a ring main 240v too far away from the Comsumer unit ??? Because that's pretty much the same thing wire extended on a ring main. Correct me if I'm wrong

@peter gerrard So the people that engineer, manufacture and write manuals for air compressors don't know that, perhaps you should write to them and tell them?

@Mark A### he's in the uk the maximum permitted amperage is 13 amps on a standard consumer socket and therefore the compressor will be lower amperage than that to allow it to function at 240 volts, Its is perfectly acceptable to use a 2.5mm extension cable up to 10 metres and as long as it is unwound there will not be a problem with any voltage drop over that distance.
Were talking about a single phase motor here with a whopping great capacitor in to so it can easily cope with 13 amps not a site unit with a massive great thick cable to deal with 110 volts or a 3 phase machine like I have in my workshops here in Spain.
Compressors work just fine on extension cables as long as the cable has enough amperage to run the motor and its startup current. In the uk that will be 13 amps and in Spain it is 16 amps as that is our maximum permitted amperage per socket or 32 for 3 phase.
I can understand it if you are talking 50 metres or a 100 but 10 metres or under its non existent. Manuals are written by technical authors who have zero understanding of the products they are writing the manual for, they are just given a set of instructions and specifications and that is it. I know that as I have several friends that actually work for major companies and get paid a lot of money to produce what are mainly crap manuals in 44 languages here in europe. Everything that is manufactured is over engineered to prevent things going wrong. There is always leeway built in.

This does exactly what I was wanting MyBest.Tools Price was fantastic, lower than Harbor Freight-and it included hose and attachments, and IT IS MADE IN AMERICA, unlike Harbor Freight
