Cursed Earth,
Cursed Earth,
Cursed Earth.
I will never feed off the evergreen luster of your heart all
Because we all live in the valley of the walls when we speak
We can peak from the windows of their mouths to see the land
You never think you know why,
Know, You never think you know why,
Know, You never think you know why,
Know, Ever think you know why,
Know.
Books all say different things while people flap their yellow wings
Trying to soar by being a whore of life
And almost everything the sheep that ran off from the herd may be dead
But now's a bird able to fly able to die able to break your cursed earth
(fuck your mother's earth)
You never think you know why,
Know, You never think you know why,
Know, You never think you know why,
Know, Ever think you know why,
Know.
On the other side, on the other side, the other side,
Do you ever try to fly, Do you ever try to fly?
Have you ever wanted to die, you ever want to die?
Don't ever try to fly, don't ever try to fly,
Don't ever try to fly, unless you leave your body on the other side,
Never try to die, you ever try to die.
Know, You never think you know why,
Know, You never think you know why,
Know, You never think you know why,
Know, Ever think you know why,
Know.
The lyrics of System of a Down's "Know" are a commentary on society and the limitations that it imposes on individuals. The repeated phrase "Cursed Earth" emphasizes the idea that the world we live in is not perfect and has many flaws. The line "I will never feed off the evergreen luster of your heart" suggests that the singer will not conform to societal expectations and will not be swayed by materialistic or superficial values.
The second verse highlights the paradoxical nature of life. The reference to books saying different things and people flapping their yellow wings represents how everyone has their own opinions and ideas about life. The line "almost everything the sheep that ran off from the herd may be dead" suggests that those who don't conform to societal norms are seen as outcasts and may be rejected by society. However, the singer chooses to break free from "cursed earth" and instead chooses to fly.
The chorus of "Know" emphasizes the idea that we never truly understand why things are the way they are. We may think we know, but we never fully understand. The ending of the song suggests that true freedom lies in leaving behind the limitations of the physical world and entering the spiritual realm.

4 things threaten our way of life
the zionazi/rot schild debt is the Godzilla in the room...if not stopped we will strangle..
#2 the plastic/microplastics tsunami
#3 water shortage.... Ogallala shrinking
#4 loss of honey bees.. less pollination
@StoryofStuff
♻️ The plastic crisis gets a lot of attention as pollution, but the environmental impact of plastic’s life cycle starts long before it ends up in our waterways and ecosystems. Watch our latest animation, The Story of Plastic: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iO3SA4YyEYU

It might be interesting and enlightening if you look into the amount of fossil fuel to make windmills and solar panels,
Plus how they dispose of the hundreds of tons of windmill blades.
@algoenespanol
"Dinosaur Economy" is such an accurate term, since so much of it relies on fossil fuels, is unnecessarily large and may cause our extinction.

90% of the people can't think outside the box. The 1% know this very well. Thus I agree with who said "if vote changed anything it would be illegal" (by the 1%).

My teacher showed me your first film... I was so inspired.

the typewrited and that’s exactly why they claim they „have no money” for schools :/

This was a very informative video to watch and my teacher told us to watch it and I'm glad that I watched it and it was also watched in a very intuitive way and I watched in very carefully.

Annie, you rock my world. I discovered your series last week, watched all the eps, and was waiting impatiently for this one to get released. Even up here in what some people like to call "Canuckistan" with our socialized heathcare and other such, this is a problem: the government can consider spending billions of dollars on new fighter planes (even more ridiculous with our relatively small military), but our social services are constantly squeezed or facing cutbacks).

6:03 Voting ≠ democracy! Voting is manipulated so incumbent-members of Congress can never be defeated. US needs a Constitutional Amendment where federal elected officials have TERM-LIMITS, and bribes are illegal.
@ruihanzeng3645
I do agree with you that incumbent win too much of the time (~94% of the time for house members and ~80% for senators), but neither term limits nor campaign fiance laws are going to do anything (Since donations are bribes; no rational person or corporation is going to give money to a politician without getting something they want in return). First of all if you don't eliminate gerrymandering (even though it is illegal, it is almost impossible to prove in court), the same people, or people with the same ideology are going to get elected year after year. Nothing changes. Second of all, campaign are expensive to run, on average House rep spends several hundred thousand during campaigns; Senators spend millions. Without campaign donations, the only people that could afford to run for office are the super rich. You have good intentions, but the results of the two policies you suggested will probably make government even less accountable to the people.
