Chronophobic Disco
TROY KINGI Lyrics

Yours is wearing thin waiting for
A spark to kick in
I don't know why everybody
Doesn't find what feels
Good and hold it 'til they belly up (Yeah)
Forget what you thought were the rules
When you've finally got it, baby
We're all dead
The day it wait's for no man
Procrastinating eyes
You need to check your wingspan
It might be undersized
How many years do you think you have?
Wake up and smell the air
Before the oxygen disappears
I don't know why everybody doesn't
Hate whеn there's love
Too many branchеs missing their doves
Forget what you thought were the rules
Stop living in the past
Ain't gonna win nothin' when
You're coming last
(When you're coming last)
The day it wait's for no man
Procrastinating eyes
You need to check your wingspan
It might be undersized
The day it was for no one not even CEOs
Stand up and grow some
Can't reap what you don't sow
The song "Chronophobic Disco" by TROY KINGI reflects on the fleeting nature of time and the importance of seizing the present moment. The lyrics convey a sense of urgency, urging the listener to run and make the most of their limited time before it runs out. The phrase "yours is wearing thin waiting for a spark to kick in" suggests that life can become monotonous and unfulfilling if one simply waits for something to happen without taking action.
The chorus emphasizes the idea that people should find what brings them joy and hold onto it tightly, even in the face of adversity or uncertainty. The line "Forget what you thought were the rules" encourages the listener to break free from societal expectations and rules that dictate how they should spend their time. Instead, they should focus on living in the present and pursuing what truly matters to them.
The song also touches on the theme of self-awareness and personal growth. The lyrics suggest that it is important to evaluate one's own potential and capabilities, symbolized by the line "You need to check your wingspan, it might be undersized." This serves as a reminder to constantly strive for growth and not settle for mediocrity.
Overall, "Chronophobic Disco" serves as a motivational anthem, urging listeners to embrace the present moment, pursue their passions, and make the most of their time before it slips away.
