A journey, with which we attempt to look beyond our boundaries
We embark on a journey to explore and expand our knowledge beyond what we already know and what's within our comfort zone.

To answer questions asked for centuries
We aim to find answers to age-old questions that have been pondered for generations.

Will it not only leave us with more and greater mysteries
But instead of finding answers, we may unearth more mysteries that are even more complex and challenging to solve.

That's the question, that is
That's the fundamental question we need to ask ourselves before embarking on such a journey - if it's worth risking to discover new mysteries instead of finding the answers we seek.

What keeps me rowing, I'm sick of this strife
Despite the challenges and difficulties we face on this journey, I'm still motivated to keep going and not give up.

I don't know where we're going, we trusted Leif
Although uncertain about our destination, we put our trust in someone who claimed to know the way - Leif.

He said, "You'll see Vineland is out there
Leif promised us that we would reach Vineland - a land believed to be a part of North America - if we continued our journey.

I can take us there I know where we are going
Leif was confident in his direction and assured us that he knew the way to Vineland.

Don't deny your need for knowing how far
We shouldn't ignore our innate desire to know things and understand the mysteries that surround us, including how far we are from our destination, Vineland.

Greatness lies within the silence of the ocean
There's beauty and greatness in the vastness and stillness of the ocean, which we're surrounded by on this journey.

Where we end is not our decision
Our fate and final destination are beyond our control and predetermined by something or someone else.

And though hidden, fate is fixed with no evasion
Even though we can't see our fate, it's determined and already in place, and there's no escaping it.

All men should try to live each
Every person should strive to live each day, week, summer, and life to the fullest and make the most of their time before the end.

Day for the evening, each week for the end
Every day should be spent in preparation for the night, and every week should be spent preparing for the end of that week.

Each summer for the winter, each life for death
Every summer should be enjoyed and embraced before winter sets in, just as every life should be cherished and lived to the fullest before death arrives.

Tell me, does this all have a meaning
We question whether all the effort, struggle, and journey are futile, or if they have a purpose and meaning.

And Leif Ericsson just stared into the distance
Leif, the man we trusted and followed, was left staring into the distance, perhaps questioning his own actions and decisions.

And asked the questions, "How far does it
He, too, was plagued with the same question - how far does this journey go, and where will it all end?

All go on and where do oceans end
We're still searching for our destination and wondering where the ocean's vastness will take us.

The autumn wind and evening tide will take us through Midgaard
As we continue sailing, we're at the mercy of the ocean's elements, guided by the autumn wind and evening tide, passing through Midgaard - the realm of humans, in Norse mythology.

Still we've sighted only sea till now
Despite sailing for some time, we haven't yet laid eyes on anything but the endless sea.

As we sail I sometimes wonder how far to Asgaard
In the midst of our journey, we're left wondering and questioning how much farther we have to go before we reach Asgaard - the realm of the gods, in Norse mythology.
