His tenth studio album, K.O.D., was released October 27, 2009. He has spent his illustrious career making sure he’s been grinding harder than the average rapper, and is the best selling artist out of his hometown. With nine solo albums and two powerhouse collaboration projects under his belt, the Kansas City MC’s flow is sharper and slicker than it’s ever been.
“This is another roller coaster ride,” explains TECH N9NE about the release. “When it came time for Sickology 101, I knew I wanted to do a collabo album based on the study of being sick. It’s a beginner’s course for people who don’t know how to be sick lyrically or how to choose sick beats. It all starts with beats because they tell me exactly what to do.” Epic beats from YoungFyre, Wyshmaster, Seven and Matic Lee set the stage for TECH N9NE to weave his introspective and sometimes roguish lyrics around.
Sickology 101 brims with stellar appearances from lyrical heavyweights. On the opening title track, TECH N9NE slays alongside Chino XL and Crooked I, pulling listeners into the Hip-Hop classroom for a lesson in murdering a beat. It’s a twisted vision forged on undeniable grooves and quixotic wordplay.
The single, “Nothin,’” is an inspiring, honest anthem that features Messy Marv and Big Scoob. Meanwhile, on “Midwest Choppers 2,” TECH N9NE and Krayzie Bone cruise to the depths of darkness. “Krayzie Bone came through and murdered it,” says TECH N9NE. “I modeled the song after movies. When you do a sequel, there has to be a bigger body count and more people have to die. ‘Midwest Choppers 2’ is Autobahn-style. It makes you want to speed.”
TECH N9NE’s inimitable flow and rhyming take center stage on solo tracks, including the haunting, hypnotic “Red Nose.” He doesn’t pull any punches on the vitriolic, YoungFyre-produced “Blown Away,” either. It’s an open letter to several prominent urban artists who refused to play before him at radio festivals despite his massive concert draw.
With hits like “I’m A Playa,” “Caribou Lou” (which boasts 7.2 million MySpace plays), “Riotmaker,” “Like Yeah” and “Everybody Move,” it’s no wonder TECH N9NE counts a total of over 4.5 million YouTube video plays and an average of 40,000 MySpace visitors each day. His success knows no limits. The July 2008 release, Killer, debuted at Number 1 on the Billboard Top Independent Albums chart and Number 12 on the Billboard Top 200 Albums chart. He did it all on his own. There was no major label — just TECH N9NE’s own record company, Strange Music. TECH N9NE’s tracks have appeared in films like Gang Related and Alpha Dog as well as various TV shows, and he recently made his motion picture debut in The Life of Lucky Cucumber alongside members of MTV’s “Jackass” crew.
It hasn’t been an easy road, but TECH N9NE soldiers on and he’ll never stop. “They call me devil worshipper because I’m different. I give you music for my core. They’re the people that put me over the million mark. I raise my middle finger to everybody who judges me because my core audience is there for me. They will always love me, but I’m trying to reach others, too. It’s not over. My music is supposed to be for everybody, but some people just don’t get it. This album is the result; swallow it. It’s middle finger music, all-day and all-night.”
TECH N9NE never stops bringing that music directly to his fans, constantly reinforcing his status as one of the hardest-touring rap acts in the business. In 2008, TECH N9NE performed over 200 shows and he doesn’t show any signs of slowing down in 2009. In April, TECH will head out in support of Sickology 101 and spend two months on the road, performing live for his rabid fans.
Sickology 101 is prepping the world for TECH N9NE’s next masterpiece, K.O.D. “I want people to know that I’m getting better and better and I’m a machine. I do these collabo albums to give the fans more. This is a bridge record to K.O.D. It’s the farewell to the TECH N9NE you’ve known lately. It’s getting darker. A lot of people might not be able to go to the place I’m going, but this place is my specialty.”
“I don’t need people to kiss my hand,” assures TECH N9NE. “I’m not trippin’ on status, and I’m not a narcissist when it comes to rap. It’s my heart and soul pouring onto the paper. I write my life and I can’t hold back. This is what I know.”

Tech N9ne Lyrics

Ah
Passionate MC
Tech N9ne
Yo Token!
Assassin
Woah Woah Woah
You don't do much, you got much to do
I do too much, you got it backwards
I never take backwards
Throw words back till my back hurt
Backed up when your back turned
I'ma be back looking for the chip on your shoulder
Homie I'ma eat that
Lot of people talking about me I don't keep track
Same people sending me their songs I don't keep track
Click - delete that!
My feedback was quick
So I quit giving feedback
Kicking my feet back thinking I just need to relax
Shit where the speed at?
Follow me everybody, murdering everything
They calling me Teddy Bundy
The industry idiots in my pockets to get the money now bitch repeat that
I'm a young kid slash old man slash oh man he go ham
Oh shit no shit cast that fall back on the beat
Got a beat to break then bake the beat to recreate
Don't respect you if you demand a trampoline
Every time you take a leap of faith
I take risks, take this, take that, take fans, take shit from no man
No man's land where I send y'all then forget y'all
I'm against y'all, then again dog
This Token and he a full clip
Can't take me, tame me or entertain me with that bullshit
One, two, one, two, three
Ay
Yates on a great song to lay shlong
On a beat a nigga way strong
Everybody tell me to pick up the pace Holmes
So I gotta rip it until all my taste gone
Spray zone, step into me get ya face blown
Stay home, N9na 'bout to race on a bass tone
That double a prone to lay clones up in the pital and they moan with a trach on
I'm the poppa not the mama dasvidaniya
When you come into my octagon you lost mañana
Ain't about to pop the llama, lotta commas
Put a rock upon ya
Nobody want it with (K-O-D)
And Token, he be on the (J-O-B)
He murdering everybody but never the Illuminati
We makin' the wannabes (Say Holy) (SHIT!)
N9na and Token be killing 'em
All the fear that we instill in 'em
Make 'em shiver with the chill and a sum
Bitches thinkin' that Tech N9ne gonna mean that the gun glitches
Some crickets what they hear in the place when I come wicked
I become vicious, Tecca N9na makin' dumb digits
And I run with it like when they hung niggas (Pyune)
I be the killa the one you be feeling for real I got the hot flows
Caught foes 'cause I got hoes
A lot though when I rock shows
Not no iller scrot bro if you crooked you smell like Sasso
Used to be Ron, lock load, me and Token paint it like Picasso
Motherfucka
Yo, I'm putting the Darth in Anakin ripping apart the planet with niggas alarmed and panicking
And thoughts are scrambling more than the doctors handling all of your parts with bandages!
And with all advantages I can show them through the devastation that
Their end's awaiting like the head of Satan with a demonstration of its separation!
Got the pencil breaking in the right hand. Twist Necks like a mic stand!
Nightmare! Rip flesh in the distance of a lightyear!
Yeah! If you really want to talk about the buzz and the way that I had to bring it back quick
With a tactic that is steadily breaking the fabric of the universe suddenly at risk!
'Cause I've mastered this! Passionate's back in his actions of sacrilege
After subtracting these bitches way faster than an abacus!
I'm blasting shit! The snub nose never tells lies!
The .38 wrapped around my waist is not a belt size!
Like pregnant birds in the sky, you'll see the shells fly!
Then I'll kill myself just to make the devil in hell die!
I tell time, and the clock is ticking on the opposition when I pop it in 'em
With an awkward rhythm, you can hear them hollering louder than opera women; I'M A BEAST!
The lyrics to Tech N9ne's song "Assassins Creed" showcase the rapper's skill and confidence in his abilities. The song starts off with a declaration of respect, acknowledging that there are others who may not do as much but have a lot to do. Tech N9ne, on the other hand, claims that he does too much and never takes a step back. He expresses his determination to keep pushing forward, even if it means facing obstacles and criticism.
Throughout the song, Tech N9ne highlights his talent and success in the music industry. He references the criticism he receives and how he chooses to ignore it. He asserts his dominance and skill as an artist, stating that he murders everything and compares himself to infamous serial killer Ted Bundy. He also addresses the industry's attempt to control him and his finances, emphasizing his independence and unwillingness to conform.
In the second verse, Tech N9ne showcases his lyrical prowess and wordplay. He talks about his ability to captivate listeners and instill fear in his opponents. He references his success in the music industry, making "dumb digits" and drawing a parallel between his success and the tragic history of lynching.
