The Bandits Lyrics

All the things I'd like to do
I would never go to work
Or pay attention to some jerk
I would jump from every mountain
I would sail the seven seas
I would fly up in the sky
If God was me
All the things I never see
I would always be with you
And make all your dreams come true
I would fill your days with laughter
I would live a million years
We'd be happy ever after
They would never see our tears
Guess how wonderful it would be
If God was me
Yea...
I would save the seals from dying
I would rip down all my chains
I would always stop your crying
And make sunshine when it rains
There won't be no thing as time
I would find the perfect rhyme
Everyone would love this song
There won't be no right or wrong
I'd uncover every liar
Talk to birds and walk on fire
Print my picture in the paper
I would have my private baker
How wonderful it would be
If God was me
Hmm...
How wonderful it would be
If God was me
The Bandits' song "It's Alright" is an imaginative piece where the singer portrays a world where he was God. The lyrics suggest that if the singer were God, he would do all the things he'd like to do and not be restricted by any earthly obligations. The singer sings about how he would jump from every mountain, sail the seven seas, and fly up in the sky. He would also always be with loved ones, fill their days with laughter, and they would be happy ever after. He would save the seals from dying, rip down all the chains, and make sunshine when it rains. The lyrics suggest that there would not be any right or wrong in such an imagined world, and everyone would love his song.
The song's overall message seems to be a desire for freedom, love, and happiness that can be found in an imaginative world where one is not constrained by society's rules and expectations. The song tells listeners that it's okay to dream and imagine a world that is perfect and free of problems. It encourages people to let their imagination run wild and to believe that anything can happen.

We are here for you
Just to tell you the truth
Yeah, we know it's not new
But we're here from the start
And that'll break you apart
Uuuhhh...
You've got to light a candle to be with me
'cause you know I am so high above you, I can't see
But if you put a fire in your window
I can show you where the wind blows
It's alright ...
Let's go, the wind has changed, it blows so wild
Now hit the fear and sing a song, yeah, sing it like a child
Don't you see, we are flying like batman
We are going to the promised land
It's alright ...
Alright, baby
It's alright ...
--
If you wanna be with us you gotta check the beat
--
People, people, tell me, are you having fun
Are you having fun
It's alright ...
Are you having fun
It's alright ...
We're on the way to somewhere, we don't know
But the time will show us where we stand, where we can go
Don't you see we are burning like the sun ball
Yeah, we like it when the rain falls
It's alright ...
