Gaining notority in their local scene for their famed Bandwagon night at Liverpool's Zanzibar club they were signed to B-Unique Records and released (via Warner) one album, '...And They Walked Away' in 2003. Their sound is a mix of classic scouse bands like The Coral and The La's, and the album is indicative of the music coming out of Liverpool at the time it was released. Band member were John Robinson (Vocals), Gary Murphy (Rhythm Guitar), Richie Taylor (Lead Guitar), Scott Dullson (Bass), David 'Swee' Sweeney (Drums), Tony Dunne (Keys). They disbanded soon after releasing their album and have moved on to other projects, John and Scott are now playing in The Pedantics.

Flцg ich zu dir.
Weilґs aber nicht sein kann
Weilґs aber nicht sein kann
Bleib ich halt hier.
The lyrics of the song ‘Wenn Ich Ein Vöglein Wär’ by The Bandits essentially depict the yearning of a person to be with their loved one. The lyrics translate as “If I were a little bird / And had two wings / I would fly to you / But since that is not possible / I must stay here.” The song speaks to the human desire to be close to those we care about and love, and the frustration that comes when we cannot be with them.
This song, while charming and catchy, also carries a deeper meaning. It speaks to the longing for freedom, the desire to be close to loved ones, and the sense of being trapped when we cannot be with them. The lyrics reflect the human condition and the way in which love and longing are a part of our lives.
Overall, the song ‘Wenn Ich Ein Vöglein Wär’ captures the beauty and frustration of love and the human experience.

super Film, super Lied, wieso am Ende so repetitiv? Wär schön gewesen, wenn's so wie das Original nach 1:45 einfach zu Ende gewesen wäre. Dennoch danke für den Upload ;)
