That was followed by a 1967 single released under the name of Steve Walker & The Bold, Dynovoice 232[/blue] Train Kept A Rollin' / Found What I Was Looking For.
They were the house band at the Playboy Club in NYC in 1968 where they played 7 nights a week (and jam sessions on Sunday afternoon to boot!) for a full year. It is during this time that guitarist Bob La Palm is said to have met and taught Joe Walsh (then of The James Gang) his techniques for using the echoplex effect on guitar (as is so elegantly exemplified on track "Free Fugue", from the ABC album). It's also around this time that as the band was moving with the times to a more psychedelic style, they dropped the "the" from their "the Bold" billing. It is interesting to also note, perhaps uncoincidentally, that producer Bill Szymczyk (who later went on to produce Joe Walsh's other band, The Eagles) took an interest in Bold during this time period and went on to produce their only full length LP, self-titled "Bold", on ABC records, (ABCS-705)
After Bold broke up, Bob La Palm then joined Connecticut's premier band, The Wildweeds (featuring Al Anderson of NRBQ fame) for a short time towards the end of that band's career, and he is known to have played on at least one recording session with them, as well as numerous gigs.
Then Bob La Palm and Timothy Griffin, went on to found a band called Clean Living with Norman Schell.
Tim Griffin also played drums in James Taylor's road band very briefly. Steve Walker moved to Lake Tahoe where he played bass in a band called Amazing Grace after which he formed the Steve Walker Band and has played on the Tahoe Queen for last 26 years or so.

I will not but others may
Clear is how the world is for me
My horizons broad I'm truly free
My minds clear
Free from hurt
My minds clear
Try to keep my mind without guilt
Forget the past pain I have felt
Sounds of hope I wish to hear
From minds I know are clear
My minds clear
Free from hurt
My minds clear
I value it's worth
In "Clear" by The Bold, the lyrics discuss the importance of keeping one's mind clear and free from harmful substances. The singer emphasizes his own choice not to put poison in his body, while acknowledging that others may choose differently. He believes that his clear mind has broadened his horizons and given him true freedom.
The song highlights the value of mental clarity and the impact it can have on one's life. The singer suggests that mental clarity is necessary to move past past pain and feelings of guilt. The hope for sound minds is expressed, as the singer believes in the power of clear thinking.
The repetition of "my mind's clear" emphasizes the importance of this concept and how it has affected the singer's life. The emphasis on clarity and the rejection of harmful substances suggests an underlying message about addiction and mental health.

And it just blows my mind that Ridge is all for Hope to be his daughter in law and her dad all at the same time.

@crazymotherdance7317
You can blame that on Brooke she had him convinced that he was her father
@TrickyNikki44
@@crazymotherdance7317 Yes Brooke and Ridge himself told her to call him dad.

Thomas is obsessed with Hope and itโs too bad that sheโs heading in this direction with him.
@lindajackson2382
Hope flashed a fake smile at the end of this scene! Did you all catch that? WHY can't this woman just say" I'm in LOVE with you Thomas"???? She's said everything else BUT THAT. I tell you Thomas should just DROP HER now! Their relationship has gone on long enough now for her to say that! Hope is SELFISH- it's all about HER and HER feelings. Drop her Thomas!
@CR61110
Thank you! If anything, THOMAS deserves better than her. Hopeโs the actual worst
@lucylennon533
I agree! Drop her, Thomas or your 2nd marriage to Hope will end in annulment like the 1st one.
