This was my father playing his Fender Jazzmaster guitar. He passed away several years ago but he would be happy that people still appreciate good music. They spelled his name wrong on the records; it's George Falaney.BTW that car was an old Stingray Corvette belonging to one of the band members. It was recorded at an old Dog n Suds drive inn.

Your father remains a hero to many of us. Car Hop is widely regarded as a hallmark of first generation garage rock. My only regret is that I never got to see the Exports in concert.

Another wonderful instrumental from my 9th grade year at Arlington HS in Illinois where I would faithfully listen to the WLS Silver Dollar Survey every Friday afternoon - this was a Top 10 hit!

My grandfather too! he was the drummer in the band taking the place of the old drummer Howard Friedman! haha i never wouldve thot i would e reaching out to one of my grandpas old friends grandchildren!
