She said you know me well
I seen you and little Steven and Joanna
Round the back of my hotel oh yeah
Someone said you was asking after me
But I know you best as a blagger
I said tell me your name is it sweet?
I was good she was hot
Stealin' everything she got
I was bold she was over the worst of it
Gave me gear thank you dear bring yer sister over here
Let her dance with me just for the hell of it
Well you must be a boy with bones like that
She said you got me wrong
I would've sold them to you
If I could've just have kept the last of my clothes on, oh yeah
Call me up take me down with you
When you go I could be your regular belle
And I'll dance for little Steven and Joanna
Round the back of my hotel oh yeah
I was good she was hot
Stealin' everything she got
I was bold she was over the worst of it
Gave me gear thank you dear bring yer sister over here
Let her dance with me just for the hell of it
Chelsea Chelsea I believe that when your dancing
Slowly sucking your sleeve
That all the boys get lonely after you leave
And it's one for the Dagger and another for the one you believe
Chelsea I believe that when your dancing
Slowly sucking your sleeve
That the boys get lonely after you leave
And it's one for the Dagger and another for the one you believe
The Fratellis' song "Chelsea Dagger" is a catchy and upbeat tune that is filled with lyrics that seem to tell a story that is both intriguing and mysterious. The music video shows the band playing at a club while people are dancing and having a good time to the rhythm of the song, which creates an ambiance of fun and excitement.
The lyrics of the song begin by introducing the singer, who seems to be a girl with a unique sense of fashion, as she is wearing shoes that catch the attention of the singer. The singer then starts talking to the singer and mentions that she knows him well and that she has seen him with two other people named Little Steven and Joanna.
The song then takes a turn as the singer reveals her name to the singer, which is Dagger. The singer seems to be a thief, and she confesses to stealing things from people, although the singer does not seem to mind. The song then goes on to describe a wild night of partying, where the singer provides the singer with drugs and introduces him to her sister.
Overall, "Chelsea Dagger" is a fun and catchy song that tells a story about a unique character who lives life on her own terms, disregarding society's norms and expectations. The song's upbeat tempo and catchy chorus make it a fan favorite at sporting events and dance clubs alike.
