1. Jayceon Terrell Taylor (born November 29, 1979 in Compton, California, United States), better known by his stage name Game, formerly known as The Game, is an American Grammy Award winning gangsta rapper signed to Aftermath Entertainment through his own label Black Wall Street Records, with which he founded with his half brother Big Fase 100. He rose to fame in 2005 with the success of his debut album, The Documentary, and his two Grammy nominations. Since then he has released several other critically acclaimed albums, 2006's Doctor's Advocate and 2008's LAX. The RED Album was released August 23, 2011. All of his four albums debuted at #1 on the Billboard Top 100, and he is widely considered to be a driving force in bringing back the West Coast hip hop scene and competing with many of his East Coast counterparts.
Studying various influential rap albums, Game developed a strategy to become a rapper himself and with help from Big Fase, they founded The Black Wall Street Records. The label originally featured such artists as Glasses Malone, Vita, and Nu Jerzey Devil, along with Game himself. His stage name was coined by his grandmother. Game first gained prominence when he attended a hip-hop summit hosted by Russell Simmons and Louis Farrakhan, releasing his first mixtape You Know What It Is Vol. 1 in 2002, followed by a record deal with the independent label, Get Low Recordz owned by JT the Bigga Figga. Originally Sean Combs of Bad Boy Records was going to sign him to his label, but Game's mixtape found the attention of famed producer Dr. Dre, who signed him to Aftermath Entertainment in 2003. In October 2004, he released his first album Untold Story through Get Low Recordz, which sold over 82,000 copies within its first three months. The album featured artists like Sean T, Young Noble (of the Outlawz), and JT the Bigga Figga. Game also appeared on various mixtapes hosted by DJ's such as DJ Kayslay, DJ Whoo Kid, and DJ Clue. Game also released a second mixtape You Know What It Is Vol. 2 through his own record label and appeared on the video game NBA Live 2004 on a song produced by Fredwreck called "Can't Stop Me". On January 24th, 2011, he released a mixtape entitled, "Purp & Patron."

Im talkin the throng chases
I diss em on any basis
Throw patrons and steal my faces
Stay blunted like jamaicans
The Marleys puffing the finest chifa
Fuckin the finest divas
If I have it, Id like to meet cha
Kill niggas that never speak up
You my fans
Sit in the stands and watch me rip these beats up
Like a legend, feel my presence like the dead ones
If I die, my only wish is my face on some And-1s
My soils curled, my baby mamas they drive sixes
As for my bitches
Theres other rappers out there thats trickin
My only mission was to sell a couple records
Buy a bentley and drive reckless
A big medallion on my necklace
I seen Daddy Kane and Rakim do it
So much respect kid
Hip Hop is dead because you new niggas dont get the message
I used to call names out
You niggas dont deserve it
So lame out
Die from these bullets outta Game's mouth
Chorus
My flow polished, I studied the legends
Hip Hop scholar kick knowledge
Get dollars, you got some work then holla
Im on the block pitchin
Most of us got riches, not trippin
Work hydrolics and fuck the hot bitches
Youngins dont stop wishin
If you got a block then flip it
Just because im blood dont mean my niggas should stop crippin
We from the ghetto
We came up without a pot to piss in
We gettin money stayin blunted
Cuz the clock is tickin
You got a rock then pitch it
You got a glock then lift it
Them G-unot t-shirts make them niggas stop snitchin
Forever ballin' Im jim jones
With rims on that blue aston martin
Interior like my skin tone
Most of these rappers want me dead
Shit I been goin'
Two classic, move rapid, my jewish black kid
The first 8letters and everything that I stand for
Colder than a New York block
Shut the damn door
Chorus
Niggas callin me back for an encore
Like im eminem
I disappear niggas like spinnin rims
Who the fuck want a war?
Meet us at the corner store
Call it the hot spot
Where gangbangers throw hot rocks
The boys comin, so what, they pop cops
Push them hot drops
How bout them shirts on that say we got rocks
High school dropout stayed to air the block out
Stack paper like the old G's told us
We only chirp on Nextels
Dont talk on the Motorolas
Gotta feel that, so kick back
And scope what im sayin
Picture me parlaying
Im flippin bricks while you eatin pussy
You chicken shit
I fuck bitches on Natime
I chow on Nadime
Gettin head under the table
Everybody stay calm
The song βFeelin Itβ by The Game featuring Young Rob begins by The Game stating that most rap artists are faking their lives and lying about their success. He talks about his preference for marijuana, which he smokes like a Jamaican, and his interactions with beautiful women. He emphasizes his desire to meet his fans and demonstrate his ability to control the audience while paying homage to legacy rappers like Daddy Kane and Rakim. He also opens up about his dreams for his own success, including owning a Bentley and wearing a big medallion necklace. The Game emphasizes the importance of respecting the history of hip-hop and the need to convey a message in the music, a message that he believes the new generation of rappers doesn't understand. He goes on to assert himself as the best rapper, challenging his peers to diss him, but ultimately concluding that it's pointless. Young Robβs verse emphasizes his success and wealth, which he gained from the βblock,β and the ongoing violence and danger that exists in his neighborhood. He also touches on his preference for specific types of mobile phones and his sexual relationships with women.
The general theme of the song is the dedication and perseverance required to overcome the struggles of the inner city and the celebration of success in the music industry. The Game stresses the importance of staying true to oneself and understanding and respecting the roots of hip-hop. The song features a catchy beat and lyrics that are delivered with conviction and passion.
