1. Jayceon Terrell Taylor (born November 29, 1979 in Compton, California, United States), better known by his stage name Game, formerly known as The Game, is an American Grammy Award winning gangsta rapper signed to Aftermath Entertainment through his own label Black Wall Street Records, with which he founded with his half brother Big Fase 100. He rose to fame in 2005 with the success of his debut album, The Documentary, and his two Grammy nominations. Since then he has released several other critically acclaimed albums, 2006's Doctor's Advocate and 2008's LAX. The RED Album was released August 23, 2011. All of his four albums debuted at #1 on the Billboard Top 100, and he is widely considered to be a driving force in bringing back the West Coast hip hop scene and competing with many of his East Coast counterparts.
Studying various influential rap albums, Game developed a strategy to become a rapper himself and with help from Big Fase, they founded The Black Wall Street Records. The label originally featured such artists as Glasses Malone, Vita, and Nu Jerzey Devil, along with Game himself. His stage name was coined by his grandmother. Game first gained prominence when he attended a hip-hop summit hosted by Russell Simmons and Louis Farrakhan, releasing his first mixtape You Know What It Is Vol. 1 in 2002, followed by a record deal with the independent label, Get Low Recordz owned by JT the Bigga Figga. Originally Sean Combs of Bad Boy Records was going to sign him to his label, but Game's mixtape found the attention of famed producer Dr. Dre, who signed him to Aftermath Entertainment in 2003. In October 2004, he released his first album Untold Story through Get Low Recordz, which sold over 82,000 copies within its first three months. The album featured artists like Sean T, Young Noble (of the Outlawz), and JT the Bigga Figga. Game also appeared on various mixtapes hosted by DJ's such as DJ Kayslay, DJ Whoo Kid, and DJ Clue. Game also released a second mixtape You Know What It Is Vol. 2 through his own record label and appeared on the video game NBA Live 2004 on a song produced by Fredwreck called "Can't Stop Me". On January 24th, 2011, he released a mixtape entitled, "Purp & Patron."

I must be some kind of creature if they're having fears
Hard times
There's no love to be found
I'm feeling like a black Democrat
Barack Obama the only nigga that can catch Osama
Spray lambas and get good head and fuck fly bitches with no covenant
Ask the republicans how crack cocaine get smuggled in
Watch them throw they hands up and say it wasn't them
As for rap, this is my lyrical asthma attack
It's all I know, the guns, the cash, the dro
Fidel Castro on my own right, capone like
My fioso been franky on the low pro
Drop top Bentley, chromed out semi
Two ran in popular demand like the first penny
My order more PK, wrist saying kinda deep
Throw DJ quake, tell em other niggas to taste this
Who the buck 50 what's coming out the speakers
Got every video bitch scared the fuck of me
Having hard times
There's no love to be found
Having hard times
There no love to be found
Shit gangster to the core
Ain't no rap flame paint your kitchen floor
What you, you can't ignore
Things you endure went up against the board
All I heardrd was easy don't feel me no more
I heard your bullshit I play matador
I'm outta category I ain't there with you
I got a positive vibe I ain't scared of yours
Hit the kid nigga they've never did it wrong
I got a girl so fine her name Perrignon
She know how to get them thangs and carry on
I blow outta town when gas is outta town
Uptown in the building how that sounds
Cause killas don't get dirty about
They get whispered about and get murdered about boi
Having hard times
There's no love to be found
Having hard times
There no love to be found
You got it on your mind look daddy say something
All I played buttoned get your face buttoned up
And now when you smirk you look like Jay Z's shirt
Sippin on turf
Give them hard taking tampons
Shot of patron and don
The ones trained get ran on my crew hard
Louis V sweaters on the boulevard
Poor niggas cars throw up signs and bang on
They call me JR I tell em come holla
I tell my poppa put away your dollars your son got choppers
And if you get enemy's your son got enemies that uptown energy
Niggas ain't never gon be on my level
Get a shovel dig a hole
Bitch impala with he devil you an acquired hustler
I'm a 80's baby for real born in 79 and ready to kill
Having hard times
There's no love to be found
Having hard times
There no love to be found
In the intro to "Hard Time," the Game expresses feeling like an outcast or "creature" that others fear. He laments the lack of love he experiences, perhaps because of his appearance or actions. The lyrics touch on themes of marginalization and alienation, suggesting that the Game feels ostracized despite his apparent status as a successful rapper.
In the verses, both the Game and Lil Wayne take on a more aggressive tone, boasting about their wealth, power, and criminal behavior. The Game compares himself to Fidel Castro and Al Capone, two notorious figures from history known for their brutality and corruption. He also references political issues, such as crack cocaine smuggling, and accuses the government of turning a blind eye. Lil Wayne similarly brags about his success and raps about violence, claiming that "killas don't get dirty about / They get whispered about and get murdered about."
Overall, "Hard Time" is a song that touches on several themes, including social exclusion, materialism, and aggression. It showcases the Game and Lil Wayne's talents as rappers and their willingness to tackle difficult subjects.
