This is the full name of Medicine Buddha, in Sanskrit, intended to be recited as a mantra for the benefit of all sentient beings; Composed of 12 syllables, it corresponds with the 12 great vows He took for the benefit of all sentient beings: "Bhaiṣajya-Guru-Vaiḍūrya-Prabhā-Rāja"

“The first great vow: 'I vow that in a future life, when I attain anuttarā-samyak-saṃbodhi, my body will shine with dazzling light that will illumine measureless, countless, boundless worlds. My body will be adorned with the thirty-two heroic features and the eighty subsidiary characteristics, and I will enable all beings to become as I am.'”

In the Bhaiṣajyaguruvaiḍūryaprabhārāja Sūtra, the Medicine Buddha is described as having entered into a state of samadhi called "Eliminating All the Suffering and Afflictions of Sentient Beings." From this samadhi state he spoke the Medicine Buddha Dharani.

    tathāgatāya arahate samyaksambuddhāya tadyathā:
    oṃ bhaiṣajye bhaiṣajye mahābhaiṣajya-samudgate svāhā.

The last line of the dharani is used as Bhaisajyaguru's short form mantra. There are several other mantras for the Medicine Buddha as well that are used in different schools of Vajrayana Buddhism.

The seed syllable is brilliant blue "HUM"  (or "BHAI" in the Japanese Shingon tradition ).
There are numerous mantras for Medicine Buddha.
Sometimes there are sets of Medicine Buddhas.
The book to get is "Medicine Buddha Teachings" by Thrangu Rinpoche.  This has great teaching and a complete practice text.
The empowerment of Guru Padmasambhava always includes a full, highest yoga tantra empowerment of Medicine Buddha and also empowerment for the main protector of the Medicine Buddha teachings, Vajrapani.
Otherwise, anyone who has Mahayana Buddhist Refuge is authorized to do general Medicine Buddha practice.
Good practice texts ( sadhana ) can be found online.  Search for "Medicine Buddha sadhana".
An excellent summary of Mahayana and Tantric Buddhist teaching is "Dakini Teachings" by Padmasambhava.  This one book is worth a whole bookshelf of other Buddhist books.  But first, study some of the teachings of Thrangu Rinpoche to become familiar with Mahayana and Buddhist tantra.
