1. The Jets are a family band from Minneapolis, Minnesota, composed of brothers and sisters who specialize in pop, R&B, and dance music, particularly Latin freestyle.
The group officially formed in 1985, with the original lineup fizzling out by 1990. Several members of the family stayed on throughout the 1990s, unofficially reviving the group in the mid to late 1990s as a gospel outfit with most of the original members present.
Various record companies have released collections of songs from the group's popular period, while the modern incarnation of the group continues to perform at various small venues, primarily casinos and private corporate functions.
2. The Jets formed in Utrecht, Netherlands in 1958 as The Rocking Explosives and debuted on stage in 1960. Their instrumental guitarmusic sounded similar to The Shadows. They renamed the band to The Jets in 1963. The group had a big hit in Japan with an instrumental version of 'Goldfinger' under the name The Goldfingers (due to another band in Japan called The Jets). In 1966 The Jets were aiming for succes in England and recorded the single The Pied Piper, a later hit in the version by Crispian St. Peters. The Jets reformed in 1982 and still performs today.
3. Great pop has not been as prominent this decade as in the last but songwritters Graham and Mick are helping to remedy that. It's obvious they share the thoughts and dreams of John, Paul, The Hollies and Dave Clark. Both cuts are previously released as a single, TTR 7805.
Mick Isenburg - guitar, vocals
Graham Walker - guitar, vocals

That's what I thought and I can still remember
Words you said, you said we'd always be together
Then why am I alone tonight?
Somethin' changed now you just don't feel the same
I'll never understand
That made me so happy, make me so sad?
I don't understand
How could the same eyes
That used to be laughin', cry in the night?
It doesn't seem right at all
Rememberin' the nights we held onto each other
The times you told me, you'll never love another
Rememberin' when I was all you ever needed
Where are you when I need you now?
Summer days have left me standin' in the rain
Somebody tell me how
How can the same love
That made me so happy, make me so sad?
I don't understand
How could the same eyes
That used to be laughin', cry in the night?
It doesn't seem right at all
Was my heart so blind, I couldn't see?
Was I a fool to believe promises you made to me?
What went wrong, what went wrong?
How can the same love
That made me so happy, make me so sad?
I don't understand
How could the same eyes
That used to be laughin', cry in the night?
It doesn't seem right at all
It doesn't seem right at all
"The Same Love" by The Jets is a sorrowful love song that discusses a love once thought eternal, but it has now vanished. The song's opening lines recount an everlasting love that the singer thought would endure forever. She recalls the promises made by her lover that they would always be together, but now she finds herself alone. The singer reflects on how something has changed and how she no longer feels the same passion and intensity as before. She is bewildered and hurt by this change in emotions.
The chorus of the song poses a rhetorical question: "How could the same love that made me so happy make me so sad?" The singer is confused by how her emotions have shifted and how what was once a love that brought so much joy has now become a source of pain. She also questions how the same eyes that used to be full of laughter are now filled with tears. The singer cannot understand why everything seems to have gone wrong, and why her heart that was once so full of hope and love, is now overwhelmed with sadness and regret. The song concludes with the singer asking why her heart was so blind that she could not see the truth of the relationship.

Liz held that microphone like it was made only for her beautiful voice. Liz could sing anything bad and turn it into beautiful thing. Amazing. I am really in love with her voice.

Yup...back in the day, singers like Liz actually sang and no auto tune. They actually had real voices. Love this song.
