1. The Jets are a family band from Minneapolis, Minnesota, composed of brothers and sisters who specialize in pop, R&B, and dance music, particularly Latin freestyle.
The group officially formed in 1985, with the original lineup fizzling out by 1990. Several members of the family stayed on throughout the 1990s, unofficially reviving the group in the mid to late 1990s as a gospel outfit with most of the original members present.
Various record companies have released collections of songs from the group's popular period, while the modern incarnation of the group continues to perform at various small venues, primarily casinos and private corporate functions.
2. The Jets formed in Utrecht, Netherlands in 1958 as The Rocking Explosives and debuted on stage in 1960. Their instrumental guitarmusic sounded similar to The Shadows. They renamed the band to The Jets in 1963. The group had a big hit in Japan with an instrumental version of 'Goldfinger' under the name The Goldfingers (due to another band in Japan called The Jets). In 1966 The Jets were aiming for succes in England and recorded the single The Pied Piper, a later hit in the version by Crispian St. Peters. The Jets reformed in 1982 and still performs today.
3. Great pop has not been as prominent this decade as in the last but songwritters Graham and Mick are helping to remedy that. It's obvious they share the thoughts and dreams of John, Paul, The Hollies and Dave Clark. Both cuts are previously released as a single, TTR 7805.

Tighten up, the demon's alive and kickin'
Long ago she left you feelin' low
And so it goes
Emotional rescue overdose
Walkin' in the room on your knees
Now it's gone
Poundin' back the memories whenever you please
One time, I think you wanted it
Two times, you had it comin'
This time, you're all alone
One time, I think you wanted it
Two times, you had it comin'
This time, you're on your own
Turn down the meltdown is all I'm thinkin'
Tighten up, the demon's alive and kickin'
Countin' on delusions to keep you whole
Turn down the meltdown is all I'm thinkin'
Tighten up, the demon's alive and kickin'
Long ago she left you feelin' low
And so it goes
Emotional rescue overdose
Wantin' me to help you to your feet
One time, I think you wanted it
Two times, you had it comin'
This time, you're all alone
One time, I think you wanted it
Two times, you had it comin'
This time, you're on your own
Turn down the meltdown is all I'm thinkin'
Tighten up, the demon's alive and kickin'
Countin' on delusions to keep you whole
Turn down the meltdown is all I'm thinkin'
Tighten up, the demon's alive and kickin'
Long ago she left you feelin' low
Turn down the meltdown is all I'm thinkin'
Tighten up, the demon's alive and kickin'
Countin' on delusions to keep you whole
Turn down the meltdown is all I'm thinkin'
Tighten up, the demon's alive and kickin'
Long ago she left you feelin' low
The lyrics to The Jets' song "Emotional" explore the aftermath of a failed relationship. The singer is still grappling with the emotional fallout as they address the need to "turn down the meltdown." The songwriter asks the person to regain composure and control over their emotions, symbolized by the demon that is "alive and kickin'." The line "long ago she left you feelin' low" indicates that the end of the relationship happened in the past, but its impact still lingers.
The chorus, "Emotional rescue overdose," suggests that the singer is overwhelmed by their emotions and the memories of the relationship. They pose the question, "Was she the one?" indicating their uncertainty and longing for what could have been. The line "poundin' back the memories whenever you please" depicts how the person constantly revisits the past, willingly indulging in nostalgic recollections.
The repetition of the phrases "one time, I think you wanted it, two times, you had it comin', this time, you're all alone" reflects the cyclical nature of the failed relationship. It suggests that the singer may have entered into the relationship willingly, but the second time around, they were maybe at fault, and now they are left to face the consequences on their own.
Overall, "Emotional" captures the struggle of moving on from a past relationship, the frustration of being haunted by memories, and the reappearance of emotions that were thought to be resolved.

A very funky induced track, glad it was not up for a single though, it makes for a great deeper album cut...some say "filler", but I prefer deep album cut, sort of a sister song to Rock It 2 U
