Have you read the constitution, article 2, section 1 The executive Power shall be vested in a President of the United States of America. He shall hold his Office during the Term of four Years, and, together with the Vice President, chosen for the same Term, be elected, as follows:

Each State shall appoint, in such Manner as the Legislature thereof may direct, a Number of Electors, equal to the whole Number of Senators and Representatives to which the State may be entitled in the Congress: but no Senator or Representative, or Person holding an Office of Trust or Profit under the United States, shall be appointed an Elector.

The Electors shall meet in their respective States, and vote by Ballot for two Persons, of whom one at least shall not be an Inhabitant of the same State with themselves. And they shall make a List of all the Persons voted for, and of the Number of Votes for each; which List they shall sign and certify, and transmit sealed to the Seat of the Government of the United States, directed to the President of the Senate. The President of the Senate shall, in the Presence of the Senate and House of Representatives, open all the Certificates, and the Votes shall then be counted. The Person having the greatest Number of Votes shall be the President, if such Number be a Majority of the whole Number of Electors appointed; and if there be more than one who have such Majority, and have an equal Number of Votes, then the House of Representatives shall immediately choose by Ballot one of them for President; and if no Person have a Majority, then from the five highest on the List the said House shall in like Manner choose the President. But in choosing the President, the Votes shall be taken by States, the Representatives from each State having one Vote; a quorum for this Purpose shall consist of a Member or Members from two thirds of the States, and a Majority of all the States shall be necessary to a Choice. In every Case, after the Choice of the President, the Person having the greatest Number of Votes of the Electors shall be the Vice President. But if there should remain two or more who have equal Votes, the Senate shall choose from them by Ballot the Vice-President.

The Congress may determine the Time of choosing the Electors, and the Day on which they shall give their Votes; which Day shall be the same throughout the United States.

No Person except a natural born Citizen, or a Citizen of the United States, at the time of the Adoption of this Constitution, shall be eligible to the Office of President; neither shall any person be eligible to that Office who shall not have attained to the Age of thirty five Years, and been fourteen Years a Resident within the United States.

In Case of the Removal of the President from Office, or of his Death, Resignation, or Inability to discharge the Powers and Duties of the said Office, the Same shall devolve on the Vice President, and the Congress may by Law provide for the Case of Removal, Death, Resignation or Inability, both of the President and Vice President, declaring what Officer shall then act as President, and such Officer shall act accordingly, until the Disability be removed, or a President shall be elected.

The President shall, at stated Times, receive for his Services, a Compensation, which shall neither be increased nor diminished during the Period for which he shall have been elected, and he shall not receive within that Period any other Emolument from the United States, or any of them.

Before he enter on the Execution of his Office, he shall take the following Oath or Affirmation:-"I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will faithfully execute the Office of President of the United States, and will to the best of my Ability, preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States."

Trump gave away his salary as President. He is a billionaire, he didn't need the money. As a matter of fact, he donated it to build schools and education centers in rural (ethnic) communities. I understand Trump isn't the most lovable guy, he shot himself in the foot multiple times with unnecessary, derogatory comments, but, based off facts on paper, dude cares about the United States and its people in all classes. He made agreements with foreign countries enforcing fair trade. Under Obama, we were taxed 16% on to and from shipments in and out of China while they paid 0% both ways. Trump evened the field. He was building the Key Stone Pipeline creating independent energy as a nation. Biden canceled its construction in the 5th of the 28 executive orders he made within his first month as president. Now our taxes go to Russia because "Biden" (or whoever's in charge) decided it would be best to build the exact pipeline over there. All the while producing more carbon emissions just to bring the oil/fuel/energy back to America. Instead of oil being transported cleanly underground through a pipeline in America, we pay another country to build the same thing and then keep PAYING THEM to SUPPLY US?? Make it make sense. Inflation is the highest it’s been in over 4 decades. This administration printed 40% of the total amount of US dollars ever printed in history, just last year. The $8,000,000,000,000 “infrastructure” bills are a bunch of bullshit. Where’s our money really going??

I used to sit in history class utterly astonished by Nazi Germany. Not by Hilter, because crazy zealots and despots will always exist, but I was dumbfounded as to how a whole nation supported him, and thought his hatred was righteous. However, the past 10 yrs have illuminated the fact that the mob-rules mentality is alive and well right here at home, and in the modern age - manifesting in scary ways I never would have believed were possible in this country. I was a Democrat my whole adult life, but HC drove me to the other side (briefly). I watched that three-letter 24/7 news cycle until I felt that ugliness creeping into my spirit (not racism, but just a nasty spirit). Once I realized it was happening, I turned off that network, and within 6 wks, I felt human again. Then, I turned on the opposite network, to return home. Sadly though, all I found was the exact flip side of the same conspiratorial coin, on the other three-letter "news" network. In fact, they had grown more hateful than the hateful network I I had just left. Then, I turned that off too, and now, you'll find me in the middle of the road, ready to compromise and admit that I'm not righteous, I don't have a monopoly on right or wrong - none of us do. I'm often both. Therefore, I realize, that in order to have a true democratic republic, we HAVE to hear each other and meet in the middle whenever possible. There will be issues without room for compromise, but they are VERY few and far between. I hope to find you all joining me in the middle VERY, very soon. Otherwise, we may destroy ourselves from the inside out. Peace to all who read this.

Somehow, despite producing thought provoking material, the PBS YouTube comment sections are always a cesspool. I mean, YouTube comments are always bad but these are especially grim. Just wanted to chime in that I appreciate these documentaries and I think they deserve more thoughtful commentary and discussion than what you're getting. It's depressing that most of the comments are just people attacking each other over unfounded beliefs that neither side can prove anyway. It feels like we regress into children on social media when politics or group think are involved in any way. Anyhow I really do think the world needs this kind of journalism even more now, so thank you for posting these.

Make sure when you type a response to claims which claim you are crazy and a conspiracy nut, you should type your response in all caps. People find all capital letters much more believable than statements written with proper sentence structure and punctuation. It shows you are confident and strong and know what you say is the truth.

I remember watching Alex Jones as a teen and believing there was validity to what he was saying because he was so passionate and confident. I think it's young minds and those with a limited world view who are especially susceptible to the lies, and some of them internalize the conspiracies without ever critically thinking through the claims they swallowed. @@RamonQuiro7 I think It was a realization I had about the scope that would be required for the Illuminati One World Government conspiracy to be true that finally made me start deconstructing some of my conspiracy beliefs. I had realized that it would take so much organization between individual parties and so many people willingly going along with the conspiracy that it began to seem increasingly unlikely to be reality. I do believe that powerful people definitely conspire together to enrich themselves, but not on the level of the NWO conspiracies. I think I realized that I found comfort in believing an all powerful secret society was pulling the strings and orchestrrating everything unfolding in the world around me, and it was uncomfortable to fathom that no one is really in control on this rock hurling through the chaos of the universe. I realized some of my crazy conspiracy theory beliefs were really shielding me from taking responsibility for my own failures, shorting comings and responsibilities, since everything became the fault of the ominous ((them)) who plotted against me and oppressed me from the shadows. I think that ultimately all of these realizations came from meditation and self reflection.

Russians actually interfered with the 2016 election for Trump. It was found in Trump Jr. email from Russian elements Trump publicly told Russians to interfere. Trump's campaign manager exchanged data. It is all documented and not a conspiracy theory

I wish Frontline would do a documentary on living with spouses and family members who believe some of the bullshit conspiracies and how to deal with them. I'm in that situation and my God, it's difficult. 😪 Some days I just don't know how I can stay.

Here's another conspiracy theory I came out with. He and Donald Trump actually was long lost twins, that's probably explained why he and trump was thinking alike, and also explained the psychic connection between those two. Donald was separated by an Orange at birth while Alex was separated by a Nut.

Anyone who thinks Alex Jones is actually performing a beneficial service, has journalistic integrity, or is trying to help people, and isn’t simply playing a character on TV and trying to monetize people’s attention to enrich himself, is simply deluded.

What is anyone supposed to actually DO with the info that “chemicals are turning frogs gay”? This is not some kind of journalistic muckraking like Upton Sinclair… This is meaningless nonsense that’s being sold to people so one guy can make a profit off of it.
