I've just been listening to the fellow Detroit dude Omar S and his track 'Thank U 4 Letting Me Be Myself' is now appearing on my recommendations sidebar next to this track 'Let me be me'... interesting contrast in emotional sentiments there, and that James Stinson was a largely anonymous producer who dies young and Omar S is pretty open about who he is and is managing to still keep going strong.
Without knowing either of them very well I'll hold back from drawing too many strong conclusions, but good luck to anyone trying to overcome their personal demons and striving to live their lives with as much inner integrity as possible - don't let other people hold you back, don't worry what they think and if you have to let them fall by the wayside as you become who you really are then so be it... just live your life how you want, those that really matter will respect you for it, and the ones that don't aren't worth it.
