Ooh, when it falls you can find a way out
Oh, when it all hits the ground
Come down, come down, come down, come down
Ooh, when it's gone, you can cry
Oh, let it go and try
Ooh, when it all comes down
No, no, no, no, no, no, oh, when it all comes down
Ooh, when it falls you can find a way out
Oh, when it all hits the ground
Come down, come down, come down, come down
Ooh, when it's gone, you can cry
Oh, let it go and try
Ooh, when it all comes down
Come down, come down, come down, come down
Come down, come down, come down, come down
Come down, come down, come down, come down
Come down, come down, come down, come down
Come down, come down, come down, come down
Come down, come down, come down, come down
Come down, come down, come down, come down
Come down, come down, come down, come down
Come down, come down, come down, come down
The Parcels' song "Comedown" is a song about dealing with the aftermath of a difficult situation. The repeated lines of "No, no, no, no, no, no, oh, when it all comes down" and "Come down, come down, come down, come down" signify a feeling of being overwhelmed and unsure of how to move forward. The lyrics suggest that when everything falls apart, there is a way out and that it's important to let go and try to move on.
The line "Ooh, when it's gone, you can cry" acknowledges the pain that comes with losing something or someone, but also encourages the listener to release those emotions and not hold onto them forever. The overall message is one of hope and resilience, that even when things seem impossible, there is a way to come down from the chaos and start anew.
One interesting aspect of the song is its use of falsetto vocals, which add to the feeling of vulnerability and uncertainty in the lyrics. The Parcels also blend different genres in the song, incorporating elements of disco, funk, and indie rock. The band members have cited influences ranging from Daft Punk to The Beatles, which can be heard in the catchy melodies and funky basslines of "Comedown."
