(1) - The Spectres take rock & roll and strip away all the extraneous junk: no choirs, no orchestras, no extended dance remixes. They boil down raw rockabilly, fuzz-bomb garage punk, and speed-addled surf n' drag into a butt-kickin' elixir of prime-evil, gutbucket rock & roll.
The Spectres started annoying neighbors with their unholy racket in early '97, and shortly after started making a name for themselves in any old dive that would have them. They've since managed to play countless shows all over the country with such like-minded bands as Demented Are Go, Hayride To Hell, Godless Wicked Creeps, Deadbolt, Twistin' Tarantulas, and Barnyard Ballers.
(2) - The Spectres were a groovy female-fronted band from the Wirral.
Cheryl Doyle - Vocals
Christopher Pickering - Guitar
Liam Power - Guitar
Nick Pickering - Drums
Steven Campbell - Bass
(3) - The Spectres (previously The Scorpions) were an early incarnation of what would later become Status Quo, rendered immortal with their psychedelic hit "Pictures of Matchstick Men." They began writing their own material, and later that year met Rick Parfitt who was playing with a cabaret band called The Highlights. By the end of 1965, Rossi and Parfitt made a commitment to continue working together. On 18 July 1966, the Spectres signed a five-year deal with Piccadilly Records, releasing two singles that year, "Hurdy Gurdy Man" (written by Alan Lancaster) and "I (Who Have Nothing)", and one the next year called "(We Ain't Got) Nothin' Yet" (a song originally recorded by New York psychedelic band the Blues Magoos). By 1967, the group had discovered psychedelia and named themselves Traffic, but were soon forced to change it to Traffic Jam to avoid confusion with Steve Winwood's Traffic, following an argument over who had registered the name first. Shortly after Parfitt's recruitment, in August 1967, the band officially became The Status Quo.
(4) - The Spectres was a band formed by Brett Michaels (ex-Laser) and Rikki Rockett in 1979. This band became Paris in 1980 and eventually Poison in 1983.
Laticia

Best lookin' girl in town
Well she's a fine, fine, fine girl
Yes she's a fine, fine, fine girl
Laticia works only by night
Doin' things far from right
Every time I see her I turn away
Laticia's a girl who most men adore
And some she knows what they're lookin' for
If they play nice, she gives all what they want
Surely she must know this can't go on
One day she'll realize
There's ways to lead a better life
When years have flown and passed her by
There'll be tears streamin' from her eyes
Too late, too long to wait
This girl called Laticia
Laticia, Laticia, Laticia
She's a fine, fine, fine girl
Yes she's a fine, fine, fine girl
Laticia works only by night
Only back roads, only dim lights
All her looks of beauty, they don't mean a thing
A lovely girl who wasted in sin
Laticia
The Spectres's song "Laticia" is a ballad about a girl named Laticia who is regarded as the most beautiful girl in town. However, she works only at night, doing things that are far from right. Whenever the singer sees her, he turns away because he cannot understand why she is living this way. Laticia is the kind of girl most men adore, and some of them know what they are looking for. If they play nice, she gives them all they want. Surely she must know this cannot go on forever.
The song reflects on Laticia's life and how her choices will have consequences as she grows older. The singer believes that one day Laticia will realize that there are better ways to lead one's life. However, by that time, it might be too late for her to change. The song ends with the repetition of Laticia's name as the singer reflects on her beauty and her wasted potential.
The song is a commentary on the moral dilemmas that people face and the choices they make. It suggests that one's beauty, youth, and charm can only take them so far, and eventually, they will have to face the consequences of their actions. The song also expresses sympathy for Laticia, who might not have had many opportunities in life and was forced to make tough choices.
