Don't let go, we're moving up in the speed of light
I say you, I've been waiting for a long time
Oh for you, feels like I've waited for a lifetime
We could start the universe with our heartbeats tonight
Don't let go, we're moving up in the speed of light
I say you, I've been waiting for a long time
Oh for you, feels like I've waited for a lifetime
I say you, oh for you
We could start the universe with our heartbeats tonight
Don't let go, we're moving up in the speed of light
I say you, I've been waiting for a long time
Oh for you, feels like I've waited for a lifetime
We could start the universe with our heartbeats tonight
Don't let go, we're moving up in the speed of light
I say you, I've been waiting for a long time
Oh for you, feels like I've waited for a lifetime
The lyrics to Tiësto feat. Andreas Moe's song "Long Time" are about the feeling of finally finding someone who seems to complete you and feeling like you could conquer the world with them. The line "We could start the universe with our heartbeats tonight" is a metaphorical way of saying that their love and energy are so powerful that it could create a new world. It's a message of hope and positivity about the potential of their love.
The repetition of the lines "I say you, I've been waiting for a long time, oh for you, feels like I've waited for a lifetime" emphasizes the idea that the wait for love can feel never-ending, but when you finally find it, it's worth it. The song is ultimately about the excitement and joy of finally finding a deep connection with someone and the belief that together, anything is possible.
Overall, "Long Time" is an uplifting and romantic song that celebrates the infinite potential of love and the magic that happens when two people who are truly meant to be together come together.
