and this would later determine his choice of singing and writing in English.
Despite having no musical background in his family, Tiago started playing the acoustic guitar at age 8.
In 2007 his unpretentious acoustic single 'Nothing but a Song' drew attention to
his voice and led to the release of his debut album Let Yourself In, which gained notoriety after several of Tiago's songs were featured on major Brazilian primetime soap operas, TV ads and films. Tiago soon started touring across the country and in 2009 was Jason Mraz's Brazilian Tour opening act.
Let Yourself In was also released in Japan, where 'Nothing But a Song' peaked at number 11 on Billboard's Japan HOT 100 Chart, and in South Korea, where the public granted Tiago a Best Foreign Artist Award for his performance at the 2010 Grand Mint Festival. Another single — 'Fine' — featured on the popular South Korean TV series Personal Taste.
His second studio album Umbilical — which had New York-based Andy Chase as producer — was simultaneously released in Brazil, South Korea and Portugal on October 2011. Digital releases in the United States and Japan followed shortly after.
The Umbilical Tour had it's debut on March 14th at the 2012 South by Southwest Music Festival in Austin, Texas, and included performances in Portugal and over 20 sold out dates in Brazil.
Me Espera
Tiago Iorc Lyrics
Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴ Line by Line Meaning ↴
Perdido em mil versões irreais de mim
Estou aqui por trás de todo o caos
Em que a vida se fez
Tenta me reconhecer no temporal
Me espera
Me espera
Eu que tanto me perdi
Em sãs desilusões ideais de mim
Não me esqueci de quem eu sou
E o quanto devo a você
Tenta me reconhecer no temporal
Me espera
Tenta não se acostumar eu volto já
Me espera
Mesmo quando eu descuido (me desloco)
Me desmando (perco o foco)
Perco o chão (e perco o ar)
Me reconheço em teu olhar (que é o fio pra me guiar)
De volta, de volta
Tenta me reconhecer no temporal
Me espera
No temporal
Me espera
Tenta não se acostumar
Eu volto já
Me espera
Eu ainda estou aqui
Tiago Iorc's song Me Espera is a beautiful ballad that speaks about finding oneself amidst chaos and losing one's way at times. The opening lines - Eu ainda estou aqui/ Perdido em mil versões irreais de mim (I am still here/ Lost in a thousand unreal versions of myself) - highlight the singer's sense of confusion about his identity. He feels as if he has lost himself in the various roles and personas he has assumed over the years.
The second verse - Eu que tanto me perdi/ Em sãs desilusões ideais de mim (I, who got lost so much/ In sane ideal disillusionments of myself) - continues to capture the singer's sense of feeling lost and grappling with his identity crisis. However, he acknowledges that he has not forgotten who he is and how much he owes to the person who has been waiting for him.
The chorus - Tenta me reconhecer no temporal/ Me espera/ Tenta não se acostumar eu volto já/ Me espera (Try to recognize me in the storm/ Wait for me/ Try not to get used to it, I'll be back soon/ Wait for me) - serves as a plea from the singer to the person waiting for him to not forget him and to hold on while he figures things out. He promises to return and be the person he is meant to be.
The bridge of the song - Mesmo quando eu descuido (me desloco)/ Me desmando (perco o foco)/ Perco o chão (e perco o ar)/ Me reconheço em teu olhar (que é o fio pra me guiar)/ De volta, de volta (Even when I slip up (I move away)/ Lose track (lose focus)/ Lose ground (and lose air)/ I recognize myself in your gaze (which is the thread to guide me)/ back, back) - reinforces the idea that the person waiting for the singer is his anchor and guiding light, even when he loses himself.
Overall, the lyrics of Me Espera are poignant and relatable, speaking to anyone who has felt lost and struggled with their sense of identity. The song's melody and Tiago Iorc's soulful voice add depth and emotion to the lyrics, making it a beautiful piece of music.

@guaraciaragoncalves7623
Sim. Quem for casar saiba. rsrsrs

Bela interpretação, faço da sua a minha.

Marcio MB ...Que engraçado, eu também pensei da mesma forma...Talvez, pq meu casamento anda mal demais...Mas,no meu caso, eu não tenho mais vontade de continuar...Vai indo, a gente cansa...De mentiras etc...
