That same year Rojas joined the Fania All-Stars and had a hit song with "El Campesino" (The Farmer). After spending some time with the Fania All-Stars, Rojas decided to form his own band the "Conjunto Borincano", but the venture was short lived. In 1987 and 1989, he had hits with the salsa versions of the ballads "Noche de Bodas" (Wedding Night), and "Quiereme Como Soy" (Love me the way I am). These were accomplished after he joined the "Puerto Rican Power" band.
In 1990, Rojas went "solo" and recorded the albums "Condename" (1990) "Sensual" (1991) and "A Mi Estilo" (My Style) (1994), however it was his 1995 recording "Por Propio Derecho" (On my own right), that placed Rojas on the Latin Billboards hit list. He gained the recognition he always wanted when he won a double Platinum Record Award, the Paoli Prize for "Best Salsa Artist of the Year" and an "ACE" Award.
In 1996, Rojas had hits with Humildemente (Humbly) and Pal' Pueblo (For my town), he also released 20th Aniversario, Alegrias y Penas and Navidad con Tito in 1999. Rojas continued to record music steadily into the new millenium. His most recent album album "Sin Comentarios" (Without Comments) was released in 2007.

Que de vez en cuando
Preguntas por mí
Ayer me dijeron
Solo apenas cosas
Que me hablan de ti
Y yo me pregunto
Cuando alguien me dice
Que lloras por mi
Si lo hubieras hecho antes de partir
Si lo hubieras hecho antes de sufrir
Hoy tendrías tanto, tanto, tanto amor
Y solo te queda
El hablar de mí
Solo te queda el hablar de mí
Y ahora preguntas por mí, woh oh
Ayer me dijeron
Que tú preguntas por mí (woh oh)
Solo te queda el hablar de mí
Y ahora preguntas por mí, woh oh
Woh oh oh oh woh
Me estás buscando (woh oh)
Solo te queda el hablar de mí
Y ahora preguntas por mí, woh oh
Y hoy tendrías tanto y tanto
Ay, tanto amor (woh oh)
Solo te queda el hablar de mí
Y ahora preguntas por mí, woh oh
Y ahora sufres
Porque no me tienes (woh oh)
Solo te queda el hablar de mí
Y ahora preguntas por mí, woh oh
Y solo te queda
El hablar de mí (woh oh)
Solo te queda el hablar de mí
Y ahora preguntas por mí, woh oh
Me busca por ahí
Pregunta por mí
Solo te queda el hablar de mí
Y ahora preguntas por mí, woh oh
En Milla no hay nada de estas
Que me hablan de ti (woh oh)
Solo te queda el hablar de mí
Y ahora preguntas por mí, woh oh
Ahora tú lloras
Ahora tú lloras por mí (woh oh)
Solo te queda el hablar de mí
Y ahora preguntas por mí, woh oh
Cógela
Cógela, uy
Me está buscando

Me está buscando (woh oh)

Ahora preguntas (woh oh)
Preguntas por mí (woh oh)
En Venezuela (woh oh)

The song "Lo Que Te Queda" by Tito Rojas talks about a woman who left a man and now regrets her decision as she asks about him. He hears that she sometimes asks about him and even cries when people mention him. The lyrics suggest that if she had shown her love before leaving or before experiencing the heartbreak of separation, she would still have his love now. The man only feels things that remind him of her, but he questions whether she truly cares or is just curious about him. In the end, she is left with only talking about him, while he has moved on.
The lyrics convey a message of regret and missed opportunities in love. The man feels that the woman did not express her feelings enough while she had the chance, and now it is too late. However, he still thinks of her and wonders if she truly misses him or is merely curious about his well-being. The repetition of the line "solo te queda hablar de mí" (you can only talk about me) emphasizes the idea that the woman's regret and thoughts are all she has left.
Overall, Tito Rojas's "Lo Que Te Queda" is a beautiful and emotional song that highlights the importance of expressing one's love before it is too late.
