I blame society
I hold society responsible for the wrong things happening around me.

Society's to blame
Society is responsible for the evils that surround and confront us.

I claim society
I assert that society is responsible for the bad state of our world.

Is playing a hostile game
Society is manipulating and damaging people in a harmful and unlawful manner.

Inside my diary
I write down private feelings and things that bother me in my personal notes.

I hide my private shame
I conceal my emotional and moral struggles that are not for public consumption.

And I blame society, society
I hold society completely responsible for these troubles.

I'm not sick, it's the world that is, they're hiding their disease
I am not the problem; the world is. Many people are behaving irresponsibly and deceitfully.

Behind a giant sign that's twice the size of life as we perceive it to be
Many wicked deeds are hidden behind lies and propaganda that appear to be true at first sight.

This sign I describe, it reads "in silence, you are free"
The people trying to deceive us with lies claim that keeping quiet is the path to freedom.

That's how they try to tie and tightly bind us, reclined in our seats, oh my
They use bribes, threats, and propaganda to keep us in check and silent, believing the lies.

They think that we are spineless, I think they are all cheats
They consider us gullible and easy to manipulate when they are the real cheats, deceiving us.

It seems the Earth is speeding swiftly towards a grave catastrophe
There is a sense of impending doom that we cannot ignore, and society is facilitating it.

That's my anxiety
This disturbing reality is causing me to be tense and worried.

It's the opposing team
I am at odds with those who are dishonest and corrupt.

To my sobriety
To my clear thinking and sound judgment.

Whose reliable defeat
Whose reliable defeat by dishonest forces is expected.

Is no surprise to me
I am not shocked when I see those attempting to deceive others making profitable gains.

It's always the same
The same things continue to happen over and over again, with deceptive acts haunting us.

They provide a dried-out dream, lying through their teeth
They offer us unobtainable dreams and speak lies to lure us in and trust them.

I find the one thousandth of one percent are thriving by deceit
Only a small percentage of people are benefiting mightily from deception and corruption.

Oh, Jesus they supply us meager feedings while they feast in greed
They, unfortunately, provide little for us while taking so much for themselves.

Oh, Christ they prescribe a violent beating ninety times a week at least
They make us suffer in their dishonest and corrupt world, subjecting us to violent and cruel conditions.

They line us up in binaries for psychiatry retreats
They categorize us in groups, putting us far away from truth and reality.

Until they finally refine the virus that makes us obsolete
By manipulating and deceiving us, they make us lose touch with reality, which makes us worthless.

For poisoning the seed
Society is culpable for contaminating the roots.

That grew the vilest tree
This led to the development of the most unpleasant and unwanted outcomes.

So we could be its leaves
All of us that contribute towards it are part of a bad system.

Blame, blame society
Society is the problem.

I'm not sick, the system is despicable and twisted
There is nothing wrong with me, the system is truly disgraceful and warped.

It's nothing that you can fix with wishes, it tricks you with its little gifts
Wishing for this problem to go away is futile, and they additionally deceive us with trivial offerings.

Then kicks you when you fuss or fidget, picket it or be its critic
When you show any opposition towards the system, they will strike you instead.

The fists will come down vigorously, little bits of it are in you
They will react with even more intensity, and some part of what they produce is present in you.

Bloodstream from a single visit, an isolated incident
A minor occurrence that contributes to an even more significant problem.

Is a thing of fiction, we're all complicit, our fingerprints all bleed
A misconception that all of us are critical of a bad system, and we all bear the blame for it.
