Tommy Sparks Lyrics

or you can rise out of the ashes and take time to look her in the eyes,
I'm still in love with the beat, he cries as she leaves
he's got many things to do, too many things to think about,
Much too much to think about (x2)
and we can leave our head in bits so we can walk an inch over ground,
She had a hole in her soul last time we spoke,
She's got many things to do, too many things to think about,
Much too much to think about (x4)
And the strain doesn't do it for you,
there's too much pressure you're fallin through,
one too many things on your plate,
but today the troubles will have to wait
The lyrics to Tommy Sparks's song Much Too Much speak about a situation where one can either take a negative view of things or try to look at the positive aspects. The lyrics start by talking about the choice between crying and moaning about the best thing that we never had or rising out of the ashes and looking at her in the eyes. This implies that it's better to move on and find the silver linings instead of dwelling on the negative side. The line "I'm still in love with the beat, he cries as she leaves" shows that the singer is still in love with someone who left, but he's determined to keep going.
The chorus repeats the phrase "Much too much to think about" multiple times, which suggests that the singer is overwhelmed with thoughts and emotions. The next verse talks about being in a situation where you want to impress someone, but it's better to be yourself and not try too hard. The line "don't try to be awkward to make her feel just like you" emphasizes that trying to impress someone by being someone else is not sustainable. The final verse talks about feeling overwhelmed with life's challenges, but suggests that sometimes it's better to take a break and let the troubles wait for another day.
Overall, the lyrics to Much Too Much are about finding the balance in life, dealing with difficult situations, and moving on from heartbreak. The song encourages the listener to focus on the positive and to not let life's challenges get in the way of happiness.
