1. Toronto was a Canadian rock band from the late seventies and early eighties who have been compared to Heart and Pat Benatar. They were formed in the late 1970s in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, when singer Annie "Holly" Woods met guitarist Brian Allen. The band's constantly shifting line-up was originally augmented by guitarist/backing vocalist Sharon Alton, keyboardist Scott Kreyer, bassist Nick Costello, and drummer Jimmy Fox.
Their first album, Lookin' for Trouble, was released in 1980, and the title track was a Top 40 hit in Canada. Head On (1981) followed , after which Costello and Fox left the band to be replaced by Gary LaLonde (later of Honeymoon Suite) and Barry Connors (later of Coney Hatch).
This sextet recorded Get It On Credit (1982), with Your Daddy Don't Know perhaps being their best known hit on the 1982 album. Lalonde was then replaced by Mike Gingrich for 1983's Girls' Night Out. This album also received attention, as did the band's Greatest Hits album of 1984.
There were subsequently several exits and entrances in 1984/85, with founding members Allen and Alton leaving, along with drummer Connors. They were replaced by Marty Walsh (guitars), Daryl Alvara (guitars) and Paul Hanna (drums), and the band rechristened themselves Toronto & Holly Woods. In 1985, the re-vamped sextet released their final album, Assault & Flattery. It featured the single New Romance, written by Holly Knight and Anton Fig.
2005 saw Toronto play at Voyageur Days Festival in Mattawa, Ontario, Canada (near North Bay) with other Canadian classic rockers Moxy, Chilliwack, Trooper, Goddo, Killer Dwarfs and Ray Lyell for the 30th anniversary of the release of the debut album by the band Moxy.
2. Toronto is a rock band from Poland, created in 1997 by brothers Sławek and Darek Załeńscy.
3. Toronto is an artist credited for the song Electric Tooth Brush on the Jet Set Radio soundtrack.

You bring life to my soul
And all creation is a witness
To Your power and Your glory
You're the end and the beginning
You're the center of it all
You're the hope that lasts forever
And the wind that's moving here now
Gift from on high, hear my praises rise
One thing I ask, all that I seek
Is that I may know You deeper
You alone are always with me
Holy Spirit draw me close
May I come to know Your presence
On the earth as in Heaven
Spirit of God, Creator
Gift from on high, hear my praises rise
One thing I ask, and all that I seek
Is that I may know You deeper
Is that I may know You deeper
Praise God from whom all blessings flow
Praise Him all creatures here below
Praise Him above all heavenly hosts
Praise Father, Son, and Holy Ghost
Praise God from whom all blessings flow
Praise Him all creatures here below
Praise Him above all heavenly hosts
Praise Father, Son, and Holy Ghost
Holy, Holy, Holy
Holy is the Lord, the Lord our God
The Lord our God
Holy, Holy, Holy
Holy is the Lord, the Lord our God
The Lord our God
Holy, Holy, Holy
Holy is the Lord, the Lord our God
The Lord our God
Holy, Holy, Holy
Holy is the Lord, the Lord our God
The Lord our God
One thing I ask, all that I seek
Is that I may know You deeper
Is that I may know You deeper
The lyrics of Toronto's song "You" are about a troubled relationship in which the singer has reached their limit with their partner's lies and attempts to compromise their heart and soul. The chorus asks the repeated question of "Whatcha tryin' to do to my heart/soul/head?" as the singer struggles to understand why their partner is treating them this way. The singer decides to draw the line and take control of their mind, refusing to let their partner continue to manipulate and hurt them. The song ends with a powerful declaration of "Go away and leave me alone, I can't stand you no more."
Overall, the song is a testament to the importance of setting boundaries and prioritizing one's own well-being in a relationship. It also highlights the pain and confusion that can come with being in a toxic or manipulative partnership.

My Two Cents
@assmane999 --
1. I'm playing the "America is a xenophobic nation" card. Also, Canadian viewership doesn't get counted by Nielsen ratings and therefore a loss of advertising revenue anytime the Raptors games are televised on US channels. This is why the NBA front office frowns on the idea of the Raptors doing well and why US sports media downplay the Raptors as an organization.
2. Masai Ujiri is power ranked #1 sports executive. So much so he was sought after by English Premiership futball teams and is the founder of the Giants of Africa program
(documentary is on Netflix)
3. Ujiri has increased company value and revenue more than any other NBA executive since his tenure began in 2013.
4. He is the ONLY black team president (and of Nigerian citizenship) in the entire NBA.
5. America elected Obama. It's still a racist nation tho. So, your point is moot along with it being a false equivalent. To be blunt: it was a bloody stupid irrational point for you to make.
6. Cheers, from Toronto, Canada.

Raptors really proved that their
team could score against my Hawks.
Scottie Barnes had the game of his
young career from three, Toronto had
no Van Vleet, and still Siachkam got his
game going too. Got to say watching Dejounte
really made me happy. To add a 3 point shot to your all around arsenal that is just good to see. I thought Atlanta got in a rhythm at times on offense. But when a team shoots red🔥hot
in field goal percentage its kind of difficult to really cool them down. I do like Jalen Johnson off the bench and enjoy seeing Trae find Capela and Collins both at the basket. Getting dunks is what we do. So any night brings a lot of highlighted reels. Good work though Toronto on defeating us when it mattered 100% We will be ready in our next head 2 head matchup our city of Atlanta.State Farm Arena
when Raptors will have to face us at home.

PG - Scottie
SG - Gary
SF - OG
PF - Pascal
C - Koloko
This right here is the deadly combo us Toronto raptors fans have been waiting for.
Have Fred come off the bench and be our 6th man of the year candidate and let him run the bench.

After their loss in Milwaukee, the Atlanta Hawks set their sights on Toronto, hoping to bounce back to the winning side. But unfortunately, they got TOTALLY devoured and ambushed in a 139-109 blowout defeat in the hands of the Toronto Raptors.
And to think that the Atlanta Hawks might have a chance to make a playoff run this season, but things are started to get a lot tougher than they expected. Perhaps the hospitality in Toronto is a lot more hostile for the Atlanta crew than the one against the Bucks. And with the Hawks now at 4-3, their record is starting to take a bit of a dip in the standings.
So far, this road trip has been a bumpy one and New York is their last stop before they can finally return to the comforts of State Farm Arena. Will the Atlanta Hawks be able to recover from this Toronto nightmare, or will the Knicks have their revenge from last year's elimination?
Make sure you tune in tomorrow to see if the Hawks can rise up from their demise from Madison Square Garden in New York!

Man, that was a hell of a game. No need to feel down Hawks, y'all got a great team, I mean it.
That being said, I couldn't get over Scottie's defense against Trae, 0 pts in the first 9 minutes, meanwhile Scottie was shooting back to back threes... I mean... I'm not saying we don't need Fred, quite the contrary... but I think he should be the start at a different position and have Gary, Precious and Boucher(And Otto when he's back, damn this team is deep!) lead that second unit.
Just think about this lineup going forward though:
PG: Sco-B, 6'9, 7'3 Wingspan
SG: GTJ, 6'5, 6'7 Wingspan
SF: OG, 6'7, 7'2.5 Wingspan
PF: Pascal 6'9, 7'3 Wingspan
C: Koloko 7'1, 7'5 Wingspan
That's alot of height, length and defensive talent(Trent being a bit of an outlier, but he's got quick, disruptive hands) maaaaannn... this team is aleady looking great... I honestly don't know how we do once the playoffs roll around. I think Koloko being a skinny inexperienced Center, that he won't be able to handle Embiid, Lopez, Giannis etc. He's also just a rookie... but I see a done of potential in the guy. He's Gonna be a stud.

Scottie showing his 3pt shooting was the best part of this game. Siakam going for that All-NBA 1st team

@alexpakha I remember an announcer from another team saying "I didn't know he could shoot" lol
