And so it was in front of this hotel
The story begins with the arrival of an angel at a hotel.

The angel had been traveling to find a special place.

And standing at one corner was a young man
A young man caught the angel's attention.

The young man was interesting enough to grab the angel's attention.

He had a small group of children
The young man was with a group of children.

Gathered round him there
The children were huddled around the young man.

Who all were quietly listening
The children were intently listening to the young man.

Which for children is quite rare
Children are not typically known for being attentive listeners.

He was telling them christmas tales
The young man was sharing Christmas stories with the children.

And each one brought more children near
As the young man continued to tell stories, more children gathered around to listen.

Where they nestled round him on those steps
The children sat close to the young man on the steps.

So each word they could clearly hear
The children were listening carefully to every word the young man said.

He then told them a christmas story
The young man continued to share Christmas stories with the children.

About how all men are brothers
The story conveyed the message that all people are connected.

And when that story had ended
The young man finished the story he was telling.

The children clamored for another
The children were energetic and wanted to hear more stories.

The children asked a question about Christmas.

When its day is through?
They wondered what happens to Christmas when the day is over.

Where does christmas go," they asked,
The children were curious about the destination of Christmas.

And what does christmas do?"
They also wanted to know what exactly Christmas does.

Now children have such simple requests
The children had simple and innocent questions and requests.

Their wishes are so small
The children's desires were not complex or grandiose.

That the young man saw no reason why
The young man felt that he could fulfill the kids' wishes easily.

He could not grant them all
He decided to fulfill all of the children's requests.

They liked his stories so much
The children enjoyed the young man's stories.

They begged him not to let it end
They wanted to hear more and were sad when the stories stopped.

So he told them about the wizards of winter
The young man started to tell a new story about the Wizards of Winter.

Whose winter ball they must attend
The story was about an important event the children had to attend.

How these wizards decorated their whole world
The story was about talented and creative wizards who decorate their world.

With icicles, frost and snow
The wizards use icy decorations to make their world magical.

And how with the dreams of this night beneath it
The wizards made the night even more special with magical dreams.

It all would magically start to glow
Once the wizards decorated their world and added their special touch, everything would glow in a magical way.

And the snow seemed to obey the young man's every gesture
The young man made the snow move and behave in a way that seemed magical to the children.

In the cold december's air
All of this took place during a cold December night.

And as for the wizards' imperial ball
The story progressed to the wizards' ball, which was a grand event.

Well, they were already there
The story concluded with the wizards already enjoying their own magical event.
