Currently standing at #83 on DJ Mag’s Top 100 DJs List, Tritonal has seen track after track fly up the Beatport charts and land in the sets of some of the most renowned and respected DJs in the world. Chad Cisneros and Dave Reed formed this dynamic musical partnership from opposite ends of the United States after meeting online in a sound production forum. Within a year of collaboration their first smash hit, Piercing Quiet, was voted best track by listeners of Armin van Buuren’s ‘A State of Trance’ radio show. Always Alive is more miss than hit for me these days, Alter Ego churns out generic trash alongside the likes of Black Hole and, dare I say it, Pure Trance. I just hope to pick things up at random these days. Despite not really liking Anjunabeats' current form, its sound is still more innovative than 'traditional' trance labels. FSOE UV and Parallels brings some decent tracks sometimes, however!

In fairness, Enhanced did start to head towards the gutter before the Tritonal takeover. Tritonal just accelerated it towards 'EDM' and it's been a tragedy since. Anjunabeats at least has its dignity.
