Read Full Bio ↴Truckfighters is a stoner rock band from Örebro, Sweden, formed in 2001.
After releasing several demos in 2001 and 2002, they recorded a split-EP with local Swedish band Firestone in 2003. In 2005 they released their debut album Gravity X on both MeteorCity Records and Fuzzorama Records. Their follow-up album, Phi, was released in 2007 by Poison Tree Records in the U.S. and on the Fuzzorama label elsewhere. Their latest album, V, was released on September 30, 2016.
Their sound has been described as classic desert rock, similar to bands like Dozer, Fu Manchu (with whom they have toured), and Kyuss. They have been featured on the MTV Sweden show "Fuzz"
The film Truckfighters by Joerg Steineck and Christian Maciejewski portrays the band's life. It was released in December 2011 and features interviews with Josh Homme of Queens of the Stone Age. The film provides an ironic, entertaining view of the three "ordinary" guys who transform into Fuzz Monsters onstage.

inside my ryde
Turnpike road
Is the most Exciting
You give me rise
To a bad mood
According to this
You ridin' with supernova
A perfect place is lowa
Mixin it Up in a Chroma
Go right ahead
Throw the brickbat
To what she said
What's the row about that
You ridin' with supernova
A perfect place is lowa
Mixin it up in a Chroma
The lyrics to Truckfighters' song "Gargarismo" are somewhat cryptic and open to interpretation. The first verse appears to describe a journey, with the singer riding down a turnpike road and feeling excitement. However, they also mention being turned down inside their "ryde," which could imply a sense of rejection or disappointment. The second verse introduces the idea of an "invisible contract" that is causing the singer to have a bad mood. This could refer to any number of interpersonal or societal pressures that are weighing on them.
The chorus of the song features the repeated lines "You ridin' with supernova / A perfect place is lowa / Mixin it up in a Chroma." These phrases are even more opaque, and could be interpreted in a variety of ways. "Supernova" could represent a powerful force or energy that the singer is riding alongside. "Lowa" could refer to a specific location or state of mind that the singer considers ideal. "Chroma" is a term related to color and could indicate the mixing of different moods or emotions.
Overall, "Gargarismo" is a song that relies on abstract and poetic language to convey its meaning. It seems to be about a journey, both physical and emotional, that is filled with ups and downs. The chorus suggests that the singer is riding alongside some kind of powerful force or energy, perhaps seeking some sense of transcendence or escape.
