Que no tengo dirección
Que soy una distracción
Esa una tonta rección...
Aún así, al confin he llegado
Ahora todo es tan claro
Por mi destino aguardo.
Esta vida sideral sólo he conocido
The lyrics of Valeria Lynch's song "Una Historia para Contar" speak of the struggles of being judged by others and the determination to follow one's dreams despite criticism. The first verse talks about how people say that the singer has no direction and is a distraction, but she has arrived at a place where everything is clear and she is waiting for her destiny. The second verse speaks of how the singer has only known a life in space, where the stars and space dust are her only home. However, despite hardships such as watching her albums being sold and signing thousands of photos, she knows that her life is not easy but it's the one she wants to live.
The chorus talks about how as the singer begins to sing, thousands of voices will call her name and she will know that the pain was worth it. She will be recognized by the universe and her fear will disappear, as she realizes she still has a lot to give. The repetition of the phrase "soy un cometa" (I am a comet) in the end represents how the singer, like a comet, falls and crashes but still continues to move forward towards her goal.
Overall, the song "Una Historia para Contar" is about overcoming obstacles and pursuing one's dreams, despite criticism and hardships. It encourages listeners to stay true to themselves and not be held back by fear.
