Gabriel yared is a genius who stands alone in contemporary music. His music is the most beautiful soft and fragile but at the same time most powerful art that I ever had the pleasure to listen too. I believe Gabriel Yared was in another "place" when he wrote this song. For the ones who would like to have a different experience, just close your eyes, do not focus on the movie and let your spirit fly... There's nothing related to the movie, which is beautiful by the way, but very sad (for me). This song is capable of taking you far far away... 😘😘

I think this how Dante could find a way to describe the Paradisio in the Divine Comedy. He used rythme of words and structure so like a master artisan. Mr Yared manages to do the same musically. His contributions to the the film's score is amazing. I think if we could translate dante's prose to Music It would sound so much like this. This is one of my favorite films scores. I wish the album didn't rely so heavily on the modern pop/rock bands of the day. The score stands by itself.

My moms died shortly after I heard this cd/song for the very 1st time..... let's just say that the occasion fit the song perfectly... and the other way around. Negra Modelos are really really strong if more than 7 on an empty stomach btw :)
