Cerebro
Vinilo Lyrics

The lyrics of Vinilo's song "Cerebro" depict a scene at a party where the tension and desires of the attendees are explored. The song begins with a request for a minute of attention, as the crowd in the bar wants to hear the voice of the singer. There is a loyal greeting to everyone present, likely referring to the people in charge or those well-known in the party scene who are expected to show up.
The lyrics suggest that everyone wants to be part of the party, but no one wants to leave. This could symbolize the desire for constant enjoyment and reluctance to face reality or responsibility. The mention of humidity at the party creates a sense of discomfort, highlighting the imperfections and problems that come with seeking pleasure in such environments. The line "Nobody pays to die" implies that nobody wants to face the negative consequences or potential dangers that may come with indulging too much in the party atmosphere.
The second verse shifts the focus to the boys at the disco and the girls elsewhere, depicting a scenario where conflicts arise when there is a shortage of perfume or attractive scents. This suggests that superficial factors can spark competition and conflict among people seeking attention and validation in social settings.
The third verse introduces a new character and changes the setting to a road trip. The singer is driving from the north, possibly seeking a different kind of experience or escape. The mention of speed and the phrase "the boy with iron" create an atmosphere of recklessness or danger. The line "breathing kind of strange" suggests that something is off about the singer's state of mind or well-being.
The verse continues with a sudden change in tone, implying that the singer hit another person with their vehicle, causing them harm. The lyrics suggest confusion and uncertainty regarding the singer's thoughts and intentions at that moment. They may have imagined themselves in a different scene or situation, but now they are faced with the consequences of their actions.
The final repetition of the chorus reinforces the theme of desire to be part of something exciting, but not wanting to face the potential negative outcomes. The mention of humidity once again suggests discomfort and imperfections in seeking constant pleasure. The repetition emphasizes the significance of these themes throughout the song, illustrating the conflicting desires and tensions that exist within individuals in social settings.
