1) Vixen is an all-female rock band who had numerous hits on their first two albums in the late 80's/early 90's. Their hits included Edge of a Broken Heart, Cryin', How Much Love and Love is a Killer. The band split at the height of their success, following their second release, Rev It Up due to creative differences with regards to songwriting and the band's musical direction. There was a third studio album in '98 entitle Tangerine although this was released by only Janet Gardner and Roxy Petrucci with the help of some unknown players and against the wishes of Vixen founder and copyright owner Jan Kuehnemund. The result was a rather protracted legal battle.
After some ill-fated reunions for various tours and projects, Vixen returned with a stable line-up and started touring again. They released a new album in fall of 2006 called Live and Learn. The current members are Jan Keuhnemund on guitar, Lynn Louise Lowrey on bass, Kat Kraft on drums, and Jenna Sanz-Agero on vocals. The album was produced by Dennis MacKay who produced the bands debut in the late 80's.
2) Vixen was also a female-fronted hard rock band from the early 80's, though the rest of the band was male. Most notably, ex-Megadeth guitarist Marty Friedman was in this band. A 2004 2-disc compilation entitled The Works includes essentially everything recorded by this band.
3) Vixen is a Polish rapper and producer.
4) Vixen aka Antonina Karakostova is a Bulgarian-born and Copenhagen-based DJ and producer. Since 2017 she has been gaining momentum both in the Danish scene and
internationally, delivering uncompromising vinyl-focused fast techno sets which combine straightforward techno with industrial, trance and acid influences. In parallel, she is also developing her sound as a producer with pending releases on labels Space Trax (DE) and Sacred Interface (DK).

Vixen Lyrics

I reach for tomorrow
While your secrets wander into lies
And all your grace is falling out of sight
Pre-chorus :
I know you know
That when I look at you
Chorus :
I give you peace and tranquility
You make me doubt your sincerity
But I'll hang around to be your clown
That you can push around
Well I'll be your clown
Eloquence is hard to find
You remain protected
You criticize and apologize endlessly
(Pre-chorus)
(Chorus)
I'll be your clown
(Solo)
(Pre-chorus)
(Chorus)
I'll be your clown
Your clown
In the song "Peace" by Vixen, the lyrics describe a relationship where one person is trying to hold onto their hope for the future, while the other person's lies and lack of sincerity causes them to doubt the possibility of a peaceful future together. The singer acknowledges that they are being treated like a clown, always there to be pushed around and taken advantage of by the other person, yet they still offer peace and tranquility to try and salvage the relationship. The lyrics suggest that the other person is critical and defensive, while the singer remains open and vulnerable.
The first verse begins with the line "When all is you then all is good," which could be interpreted as the singer acknowledging that they are willing to look past the other person's flaws and focus on the positive aspects of the relationship. However, the next line suggests that the other person's secrets have turned into lies, causing their grace (or integrity) to fall out of sight. The pre-chorus lyrics "I know you know / That when I look at you / I can't save myself" imply that the other person is aware of the effect they have on the singer, but they continue to act in a way that is damaging to the relationship.
The chorus of the song is where the singer acknowledges that their efforts to offer peace and tranquility are met with doubt and insincerity from the other person. However, they still hang around and allow themselves to be treated like a clown because they believe in the possibility of a better future. The second verse suggests that the other person is eloquent but protected, meaning that they may be skilled at expressing themselves but are guarded and defensive. The final repetition of the chorus emphasizes that the singer will continue to be the other person's clown, despite the lack of sincerity in the relationship.
Overall, the lyrics to "Peace" explore the tension between hope and doubt in a relationship, where one person is trying to maintain positivity while the other person's actions are causing them to question whether a peaceful future is possible. The singer's willingness to remain vulnerable and offer peace is contrasted with the other person's defensiveness and lack of sincerity, creating a sense of frustration and tension in the lyrics.
