Waldeck later went to law school (though his heart was still with music). He finished law school and became a copyright lawyer. Then he heard about a case that changed his focus from law back to music.
"It was during the time when George Harrison got sued for ripping off an old Motown tune," Waldeck recounts, "I realised the way forward was to work a melody until it didn't belong to anyone anymore."
He eventually stopped focusing on law altogether and concentrated on music.
Soon after his decision to leave law completely he moved (along with all of his electronic music equipment) to England. While in London, he met his vocal counterparts, former Incognito singer Joy Malcolm and Brian Amos, who worked on projects such as Pressure Drop. The three have been with each other ever since.
In 1996, Waldeck returned to Vienna, Austria and produced the Northern Lights EP, quickly gaining international attention through its biggest hit, Aquarius. A successful full length album, Balance of The Force, followed in 1998. Later that year, Balance of the Force - Remixed was released.
Waldeck has produced a multitude of albums while still in Austria. Unfortunately, however, many of them are out of print and are very scarce. The out of print albums include The Night Garden Reflowered, Balance of the Force, Balance of the force Remixed, Northern lights, and This Isn't Maybe.
Sometimes described as trip-hop Klaus's songs have a very calm and laidback theme. They often consist of mellow vocals sung either by Joy Malcolm or Brian Amos (although sometimes they consist of only Klaus's instrumentals). While some people have mixed feelings towards the male-female vocal fluctuations, others feel that they offer versatility in the sound while still maintaining the unique style of his music.

Led me through the night
Stood against the storm
And taught me pride
Did they weigh you down
Did they boil the salt
Did they mess you up
In your fancy loft baby
That sparkles in your eyes
Your falling apart
Now your living lies
Did they change the rules
Without telling you?
What a suprise
Who needs who now baby
Take a break and come down
Take a chance and start
Take a look in the mirror
Take the pill to wake up
Take a break and come down
Take a chance and start
Take a look in the mirror
Take the pill to wake up
Wake up
Theres a spirit of our youth
Wont solves your thoughts
Used to care about truth
And fight against the odds
Did they make you trade
The dreams of old
Did they tell you
It was cool to be cold baby
Theres a light that you once shown
Clouded you la don ??
Everything is lone
And everybody is gone
Was life rough on you
Did it fit no more
As we fibbin you to my dorm ??
Now baby
Take a break and come down
Take a chance and start
Take a look in the mirror
Take the pill to wake up
The song "Wake Up" by Waldeck is a powerful call to action about finding oneself and taking control of one's life. It is a poignant reflection on the challenges and changes that one faces in life as they grow and mature.
The song begins with an acknowledgement of a guide who helped the singer find their way home, through the darkness and storm, and taught them pride. However, in the second verse, the singer questions whether this guide was just a burden, weighing them down and messing them up. The chorus urges the listener to take a break, come down from the chaos, and start fresh by taking a pill to wake up.
The third verse refers to the spirit of youth that used to care about truth and fighting against the odds. It questions whether the listener has traded their dreams of old for the coolness of being cold. The final chorus repeats the call to action, urging the listener to take a chance and start anew, by looking in the mirror and taking the pill to wake up.
Overall, "Wake Up" is an encouragement to break free from the monotony of life and find oneself. It encourages introspection and asks the listener to question whether their current path is truly fulfilling.
