@Daniel Shakespeare I have never been good with elevator pitches, but here goes...

Dundle and the Death of Magic

“In a world not unlike our own, fantasy creatures secretly live all around us. Due to an ancient pact, they must remain hidden. Only something arrives that threatens this delicate peace, a being known as Gehenna arrives, capable of annihilating anything magical in an instant.

Featuring a boy named Dundle who can heal from anything but can’t make new memories, a man with an encyclopedic knowledge of a hit media property secretly used to keep the truth under cover, a living locket, and so much more, Dundle and the Death of magic explores a world built on a reluctant truce and how quickly that peace can collapse.”

This was born out of my experiences with Harry Potter and Men in Black. In HP, I wanted to see a war between the magical world and the human military. In Men in Black, I wanted to see what would happen if the world learned the truth. This book series explores those ideas, and a lot more.

This will always be my favorite genre of music. In my opinion, vocals can sometimes restrict a song to one subject matter and one theme. With post-rock, the listener can use the song to create his/her own journey. There are no thematic restrictions, it feels completely free and open to interpretation.

What an absolutely fantastic album!
