How can music be this amazing. This track always leaves me speechless, it progresses so well. The kicks at the beginning perfectly set the stage, especially when accompanied by those lush "plucky" synths (as I like to call em). Then the track becomes ambient almost with the same melody for a little, and the claps kinda just make the whole flow in the moment (and so do those 808s in the background). The strings just completely move me, and that kick constantly thumping hits hard to me, as the drums slowly roll in we get a nice little "Woo!" and then the whole track is just a blast from there. The arps, the bells, the synths, the drums, and those strings still sifting through the track. I really like the rhythm that just rushes in at around 3:30, it really gets you back moving. Plus the whole little melody you hear at the beginning softly set over some drum programming really gets me. And then lastly, the little cute melody that starts towards around 4:30 shows up and plays throughout the song, with little intricate synths and other motifs drifting off into the background, until eventually all of the little instruments meet up at the same time. It all just stops, and drifts away. What a journey this track is, and I could really say a lot of the same about the rest of Wisp's discography, but something about this track really resonates with me, it's a masterpiece in my eyes.
@adj789
such a good song hahaha
@friendlybullet943
@adj789 basically yeah
@malsypright
Something about this genre and style of music really emphasizes the fleeting beauty of the simple things in life, and makes you feel so old and so young at the same time.
At least to me.
@EveryTimeV2
Just imagine music like this forming in your mind, all the different sounds bouncing around in your head, focusing on the speed it all happens with my eyes open just makes me lose focus and I probably have a nice thousand yard stare, it's easier to close my eyes and listen to it. The best thing about this kind of music is it can overwhelm the senses because it's fast enough to make you focus on each detail that pops up, and the electrical feeling up your spine is pretty intense.
@ModusPwnens72
That's a pretty great description actually =] Sometimes I wonder if people with ADHD tendencies (like me) are drawn to this music because its so easy to let your attention flit from shiny object to shiny object.
@jayfif3253
@Modus as someone who has ADHD i have to say you're right
@swifterik
Yeah that thousand island stare moment..
@karinamaloney1033
I'm so obsessed with this song right now, and Wisp might be one of the most underrated musicians of all time. He operates on a whole different level.
