2) Xanadu is a 6 man folk rock band which won Battle of the Bands in Tulsa, Oklahoma in 2006. The guys were only 18 or so at the time of winning the competition. By winning they were given the opportunity to record their debut and only album to this day. Their impressive instrumental talent coupled with lead singer Brian Payne's voice create a music genre set apart.

5) Xanadu is a Hungarian alternative band, founded 2008 summer.

6) Xanadu was a German pop band in the late 1980s/early 1990s. They released two albums and several singles. One of the original members was Lyane Leigh, who later became the voice of the well-known Eurodance project E-Rotic.

I came here to play this song on hearing of Olivia Newton-John's death and just burst into tears on hearing the opening notes. I remember watching this movie in VHS way back in the day - 1981! Olivia's beauty and talent, Gene Kelley's incredible dancing, ELO's amazing music, and the happy, upbeat , positive energy make me so nostalgic for a happier, more hopeful time. She will always be iconic to me, I'm 30 and this song/movie is one of my earliest memories. Grease, too. She was such a musical inspiration for me growing up. I've never been so distraught over a celebrity death! 73 is not that old :(

This is how we should all remember Olvia Newton-John ---- gorgeous, young and happy, Her singing was beautiful, and even though she was from Australia, she was really "The World's Sweetheart". She fought a 30 year battle again hideous cancer, and now she can rest..... Thank you, Olivia, for the music, the acting and the entertainment!

I really don't appreciate being told how I should remember someone dear to me by some shallow a-hole who thinks he can speak for everyone else. Olivia spent a lifetime helping others, inspiring others, and she left the world a much better place than it was when she entered it, and all of that was because of who she was on the inside, not on the outside. Sure, she was mind-bogglingly beautiful, but her greatest beauty radiated from within. It was just who she was, and that's who she was until the day she died. She was one of a kind.

I was just starting third grade around the time the movie "Xanadu" was released (fall 1980) and already we had the soundtrack on cassette! I listened to alot of Olivia's music the day after she passed and it never ages one bit! Doesn't sound dated whatsoever! "Magic" has been and remains my go-to today and I'll be 51 this coming January!
