Y Lyrics

Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴  Line by Line Meaning ↴

El perro estaba entrenado
Estaba educado a detectar la droga
De olfato muy delicado
Buscó en todos lados
Moviendo la cola
Y ya estaba muy enviciado
A la goma de amapola
Ernesto estaba calmado
Sentada a su lado
Su novia Julieta
El perro desesperado
Algo había olfateado
En la camioneta
Ordenó el uniformado
"Pásele a aquella caseta"

En la segunda inspección
Ernesto paró la troca
"Julia de mi corazón
Haber de a como nos toca
Será nuestra perdición
Si el perro huele la coca"

Aunque era domesticado
Ya necesitado aumentó su bravura
Brincó al asiento ladrando
Furioso rasgando ya la vestidura
Y empezó a tragar bocados
De la cocaína pura

El can ya descontrolado
Pues se había pasado
Su furia era tanta
Con el hocico babeante
De aquel vigilante
Buscó su garganta
Ahí se murió sin soltarlo
Como divina venganza

Se formó la confusión
Los otros perros aullaron
Ernesto se aprovechó
De que nadie los cuidaba

Corriendo se regresó
Dejó la troca olvidada

Overall Meaning

The lyrics of Y's song 9 paint a vivid picture of a drug-sniffing dog, trained to detect drugs and with a keen sense of smell. The first verse describes the dog's actions as it searches for drugs, wagging its tail until it eventually becomes addicted to the smell of opium. The second verse introduces the dog's handler, Ernesto, who is sitting with his girlfriend Julieta. The dog becomes desperate as it smells something in their truck, and Ernesto is ordered to pull over by a police officer.

In the third verse, Ernesto realizes that the dog has caught a whiff of cocaine in their vehicle, and fears that they will be caught. The once-tame dog becomes more aggressive and begins to rip apart the truck in search of the drugs. However, it eventually succumbs to the effects of the cocaine and dies, taking a final bite out of the guard who had been holding onto its leash. Despite the chaos caused by the dog's death, Ernesto manages to escape the scene before the authorities realize what happened.

The lyrics of Y's song 9 tackle the issue of drug addiction and the impact it can have on both humans and animals. The story is a cautionary tale of what can happen when individuals get caught up in the world of drug trafficking and the harsh consequences that can result. The vivid imagery used in the lyrics, combined with the mournful melody, make for a powerful piece that highlights the importance of staying away from drugs.

dear antanov why didn't you update the an12 in 40 years?

Wen Ling

Russians abandoned An-12
China updated its An-12 ,still 20-ton, but larger volume, longer range, better engines, better avionics...

C130 knockoff

Roland Lawrence

not really. its a knockoff of the an12 which itself can trace its heritage back to the 2 engine an8 and then the an10 based off of that.. which became the an12 military transport. the c130 has great short field performance, the an12 not so much but does make up for it with faster cruising speeds. interestingly after the fall of the ussr... Lockheed test pilots flew the an12 and found it was not as ** as they thought.
