With his first album 'Divane' he won the Altın Plak (Gold Plaque) Award. After that he put out two more albums "Esirinim" and "Masal."

After finishing "Masal" he said that he had completed the trilogy he always wanted to make.

In his 4th album "Sevdiğim Şarkılar" he covered the classics that he had always liked and then released his 5th album "Hatırla" and recently came out with his new 2006 album "Sevda Sinemalarda."

Overall Meaning

The song "O'nun Vedası" by Yaşar is a sad love song about a couple who are ending their relationship. The singer questions whether it's really so easy to say goodbye, and wonders whether his partner wrote him letters on the same hands she used to hold. The singer then says that if his partner wants to start over again someday, he will be waiting for her. But waiting is not easy because time is slow and it feels fake.
