"When I Fall in Love" is a classic love ballad written by Victor Young with lyrics by Edward Heyman. The song was initially written for a 1952 film called "One Minute to Zero" but later became a popular standard covered by many artists over the years. The first verse expresses the singer's concern that their traditional values are seen as antiquated: "Maybe I'm old fashioned, feeling as I do. Maybe I am living in the past." I sang this song with my chorus choir in high school in '96. Was watching a movie with Adam Sandler and Chris Rock called "The week of" and heard the song! Brought back so many memories. Didn't know Nat "King" Cole sang it. 💕
