Zen Lyrics

Sólo contigo me siento bien
Puedo no ser el amor de tu vida
Sí así quieres usarme está bien
Que me importa sí tu no me amas
Puedo no ser el amor de tu vida
Pero soy el amor de tu cama
Sólo soy el amor de tu cama
The lyrics to Zen's song "Todo" delve into themes of desire, vulnerability, and longing for a deeper connection. The opening lines, "Y sí desnudo mi alma / Será que ella también te enciende" (And if I bare my soul / Will it also ignite you), suggest a desire to expose one's true self to another person, hoping to elicit a similar level of passion and emotion. There is a sense of uncertainty and fear, as the next line acknowledges that sometimes love hides beneath the surface, concealed even under the sheets. The lyrics invite the listener to contemplate this possibility.
The chorus, "Quiero ir más profundo / Pero no pertenezco a tu mundo" (I want to go deeper / But I don't belong in your world), expresses a yearning for a more profound connection and intimacy. The singer longs to be the person who truly sees and understands the other person, gazing into their eyes. Alongside this desire to know someone on a deeper level, there is a recognition that physical intimacy alone is not enough. The verses emphasize that there is more to a relationship than merely touching and undressing, as the singer wishes to guide their partner's journey and always be present for them.
The bridge of the song reflects a resignation to the reality that the relationship may be one-sided, with the singer accepting the role of being used if that is what the other person desires. Despite this, there is still a sense of satisfaction and contentment in being with that person, even if they are not considered the love of their life. The lyrics play with the notion of love and differentiating between being the love of someone's life and the love that exists solely in the bedroom.
Overall, "Todo" explores themes of vulnerability, longing, and the complexity of relationships, highlighting the desire for a deeper connection while acknowledging the limitations and compromises that may come with it.
